The ebony pup followed the russet male through the landscape of the Whispering Caves. He was not sure what that would be like since he was not sure why they called this place the Whispering Caves, but, he would sure he would find out sooner or later. His tiny paws clicked on the stone floor of the cave as he could hear the wind echo from outside of the cave. His heterochromatic hues of blue and green were darker than before due to the darkness of the cave. He sniffed around and could hear screeching, cowering in fear he hid underneath Dayton, staying low. When he looked upward, the animals that he saw moving above seemed as if they were a large flying rat, his eyes showing fear and worry.
"Dayton, will those things up there eat us?" He asked in a whispered tone, cranium looking upward to him and waited for an answer. He had never seen a bat before, and seeing a creature like this terrified him greatly. His stomach growled as he winced in pain. He hadn't eaten for a couple days and he was very hungry. He was not sure if you could eat any of the black flying creatures, but the ebony brute would eat anything if it would keep his stomach from growling.
