Mouser / Req <3

This assignment which the demon had received was a tricky one. He had to find the right boy to be a slave, a plaything for Fiamette. It was something which would take some time to find but he was trying to rush the process a bit. He was avoiding the usual weeks of stalking and just looking for one with the right looks that might suit her. He narrowed his eyes as he stalked around yet another locale in search of this mysterious man to be a slave. Truthfully, he wasn't sure how long it would take him to find one. He had already been out searching for a week but he would not fail because he preferred to keep his rank rather than being deserted.

The multi-colored Mephistopheles in disguise lurked about, catching the faintest scent in the breeze that made his eyes snap open wide from their narrowed state. A small and devious grin caught his muzzle as he followed the scent a bit closer... and closer... and closer. He determined that if the male scent he caught was decent-looking enough, then that man would be property of Apollyon and he would be some sort of messed up toy fr the Empress herself. This was only if he was worthy of the honor...

Walk | Talk | Think

He really had no business in being here. His duty was to his pack, to his mother and family, and venturing off as he was presently doing was not going to be doing anything to help them. But in his mind, it could have. For quite a while he had missed the presence of the red young lady that he had assumed to have been some sort of emissary for the divine power that his mother believe looked over them, and he had been fearing more and more recently that somehow he had fallen out of favor. So far nothing too terrible had come of it - despite the split up and renaming of Ludicael things were still relatively normal - but Requiem feared trouble brewing ahead either for himself or the pack as a whole if those perceived lines of favor were not restored.

So while he should have been inside the pack lands, hunting or training in some manner, he was here instead, walking about with his teal-green gaze searching about for any sign of the red wolf that he had assumed to have been his personal connection to the power above. After stopping at the border of the lands they had last met within he had realized the lands were now claimed and had not dared to risk trespassing, especially being conscious of what sorts of repercussions that might bring down upon his family. He had continued past with a new sort of desperation, worrying the longer and farther he went.

By the time his paws hit the unappealing, boggy Swamplands he was beginning to fear the worst. Could he possibly have done something without knowing that had upset the divine power and caused the emissaries to avoid him? Were they possibly just too busy conducting their work to pay him another visit? His ears shifted backward to rest warily against his head as he paused, glancing about nervously. He should head back, but...maybe just a little further? Deciding to keep going, the unsuspecting yearling continued to pad about, trying to avoid the worst areas in his search for a connection to the power he believed in.

Blahhh short <3 Never done one of these claiming things before xD

The scent trails grew fresher and fresher and Aurelio could not help but grin in delight when he saw the man. He would no doubt be perfect for the Empress' needs and he appeared to be clean of fleas and such. His tail waved from side to side agressively as his eyes narrowed and his booming baritone voice broke the air in a commanding tone. "You there. You are to come with me now as you are now a servant of the Empress Fiamette of Apollyon." He would challenge the man, daring him to wage a war for his own freedom against the dark russet mottled brute.

Walk | Talk | Think

Requiem was unaware of the stranger who followed quietly along behind him, trailing his scent and assessing him from afar. He was far too preoccupied with his own search which was proving to be fruitless all over again. Was this it? Would he never get to see her again, or know that he was doing well in the ways of those he sought to please and follow? He was so far from home already that his steps slowed nearly to a stop as he considered turning back and salvaging whatever was left of his day to be productive inside the pack's borders, when a deep, authoritative voice spoke up behind him.

Starting, the yearling spun around rather quickly, his two-toned gaze fixing immediately on the figure there. The wolf appeared rather pleased despite his tone that brooked no compromise, insisting in that single phrase that the brown wolf was to follow him back and submit to being a servant to some empress from a place that he could recognize. Hesitantly Requiem drew back a step. He did not want to become some servant to some random stranger, no matter their station inside of a pack if that was what Apollyon turned out to be. He had family back home that needed him, that he needed. This guy had it all wrong.

Setting his jaw stubbornly, resolution within his eyes, Requiem stared the wolf down. "I'm not going anywhere," he answered, his tone sure though he had never really been tested. If it came to a battle he was not at all certain of coming away the victor, but he was sure going to do his damnedest to keep his freedom. "The only one I serve is the divine, and that's not whoever this empress is."

OOC: Gonna say in advance any PP you find necessary is alright with me!

The boy seemed so sure in tone but his eyes betrayed him and that would be his downfall. Aurelio would rush forward, hissing out words with every footstep. "It wasn't a choice fool." The words were almost spat as he rushed, his jaws snapping until they had a firm grip over the boy's muzzle. He forced the boy down to the ground, hissing slightly as anger and ferocity glowing in his eyes. He had to take this one and return it to Fiamette to be her down slave. His claws were dug into the ground to stop himself from roughing up the boy too bad as he fought for self-control to not do more. He would back up, daring the boy to try and defy his orders again. "You will come with me and you will serve the Empress or I will hurt you." He would spit at the boy as he watched him carefully. "I will drag you to her if I must." The threat was finished as his tongue grazed across his teeth. His eyes narrowed slightly.

Walk | Talk | Think

Any hope he had of the wolf rethinking his purpose after he had spoken were gone the instant the grey-eyed male reacted. There was no sense of hesitance as he stepped forward, no chance within his voice and words that he was up for negotiating what he had already decided: Requiem was going to go with him to see this empress whether he wanted to or not.

Before he could so much as square his stance in any preparation for a fight, since he could feel that was what it was coming to, the male had moved and covered the space between them with relative ease, much too quickly for Requiem to react. He had barely managed a step back, the barest defense he could manage, before the wolf's jaws latched around his own, pinning his muzzle and causing a sudden growl from the yearling that very nearly took on the qualities of a whine. That hurt! All of his life fights had always been conducted in play. Never before had the brown yearling actually felt true venom within the attack of another, until now. And he was utterly unprepared.

With far too much ease despite their nearly equal sizes, the boy felt his weight shift as his opponent did and collided with the ground, the weight of the other standing over him and ensuring that he would stay there upon the ground. Requiem growled back against the teeth that remained closed around his jaws, but there was a new fear in his eyes. If he could be this quickly brought down, what fight could he put up for himself? How would he get away?

To his surprise his attacker backed off, and with a clear threat gave the brown wolf time enough to get to his feet. Tentatively, heart beating anxiously in his chest, the boy rolled to his stomach and licked at his sore muzzle, testing any damage done before he got to his feet. For just a fraction of a second he contemplated running, but he had never really been the swiftest of wolves. There really was no escape. Eying the wolf through a wary frown, Requiem remained still and quiet, waiting for him to direct them to this place known as Apollyon and hoping that, just maybe, he could talk his way back into freedom.

The boy made a wise decision to not bother running from Aurelio. "Come. Now." He commanded as he started to walk towards the familiar territory of Apollyon, watching the boy carefully to make sure that he followed him. He couldn't hide the grin of satisfaction across his muzzle. Fiamette could have her plaything and he could have his rank. It was truly a fair and just trade, one that he did not mind. He found that, despite his flighty nature when it came to packs and being in them, he could stick around for a bit. Fiamette was not pansy and that was a first as far as it went for pack he was in.
