Surreal had meandered out of the confines of the willows, feeling the need for exercise. As her womb slowly expanded to accommodate the growing lives within her, she grew gradually more ravenous. She greeted it all in stride though. Her mother was there to make sure all went well with the pregnancy, not to mention both Cael and Imena were experienced healers. She had plenty of time left before she would be too round to fight a battle. Plenty of time to hone her skills. Even if she didn?t wrest the home they?d been banished from back, she would need all the skills to keep the pack wherever they may settle.

So she moved at a working trot, warming her muscles up, working on her stamina. She?d gained more muscles during life in the Island, with its steep paths and sheer cliffs, and her constant runs up and down. Her jaws were lightly parted to run fresh air over her tongue and palette, effectively regulating her temperature to a manageable level. She could feel that glorious burn in her muscles that told of a strong body working to stay strong. Her mind also remained agile, as she went over possibilities for her future pack. Her mother had earned a high rank over and again in her long life. There was no question that she would be a lead healer. Imena and Cael, should they wish to live in this new pack, would both be experienced enough to earn high ranks. Certainly experienced enough to teach the newer generations.

She recalled that Alsander had done his best as a high ranked warrior, though he had admitted to wanting a lower rank, in order to have time to find a female he?d called Io. Deviant. Hm. Her mind trailed through the twisting paths of thought as she crossed into a sweet smelling place full of trees. She slowed, looking around at the trees. Fruits grew heavy on their branches. Ah, this must be the Orchard. Her mother had told her about this place. It could draw many prey animals to it, with all that fruit. She turned her head into the breeze coming from the east and north. Her ears jumped, and her mouth filled with saliva. It didn?t take much to make her hungry. Bison, it seemed, ranged in that direction. It was a possibility.

She wandered through the orchard, enjoying the smells and sights. It was a sunny, peaceful looking place. Unbidden, her eyes trailed the ground, mapping out possible den sites. If the plans she had already didn?t work out, a backup plan was always a good idea.
