More Than One of Us

Oh joy, more hot days. Too hot, too hot! The large crow shook his body, feathers fluffing out as he tried to air out himself out. He didn't care too much for this heat and often spent most time in the large trees that dotted the Eastern landscape. It was hard to catch bugs on hot days, they were all hiding from the extreme heat. Even the fruit on the trees was withered and dry, not juicy like the ones that he liked to munch on. No food, no food! This made B rather grumpy, he hadn't been able to collect much to eat. Kicking at a pine cone B let out a loud caw, the cone falling from the branch that it had clung to. "B want's food! No fair, caw! Meanie sun has taken away all of B's food, and B is hungry!"
