The clouds overhead covered the summer sky in a gray blanket. As he stepped out onto the soft summer snow, he needed to address the royals of the pack. They were important members of the pack just as much as the normal ones were. While more privileged, he needed to know who would be working, and who would be relaxing. The Olori himself was allowed to give out permissions, certain members allowed to do duties of normal higher ranks, but royals being an exception. The male raised his head for a howl, binding across the land like a hurricane.
Lowering his head he sighed softly, things were settled now but he felt unsettled. Regardless things would move on, he was here to support his family and lead them. Sacrifice his own well being for them. These were the royals, his family, and this kingdom was a sanctuary for them. He hoped it would last for generations to come.
ooc: Okay royals please post by the 19th! This one is required so Quelt can sort their duties out and such.

First one meeting, and then another. This one, he knew, was different, which he reminded Aiko of as he got up to bring her there. A heavy sigh would leave him. The girl was too naive for her own good, and he feared what might happen to her if she continued to act this way. Mature young women sometimes faced such hardships in life... And Aiko... Well... He truly worried might happen in her case. The calico would glance over at his niece, giving a small smile to her, as he lead the way to where Quelt was.

Allen would come to a stop, giving a nod to Quelt as he took a seat. His smile was back, hiding his worries, at least for now. ?Things are coming together, Quelt. You?ve done so well for all of us. From the bottom of my heart I thank you.? Allen had been more at ease, and smiling at the thought of seeing Hajime again someday and giving the news, if he did not already know. Dark forest green eyes gleamed with life, and the aging male felt as if he had truly found some peace.

Sleeping peacefully...on such a chilly day. Snow was soon to come, along with rain, Ixionn was sure of it. And it was perfect too...because the boy had collected a ton of soft vegetation as a little 'bed' or nest in his chamber. It was so comfortable. Almost like a fuzzy mattress. It was kind of like...being cuddled up near a fireplace on a snowy day. It was freezing outside- but you were lucky to have such a warm little spot to immense yourself in. Drago, even though he'd rather stay outside, decided to take a nap with the boy. So being there with his buddy was really comfortable...even if it was a blue lizard.
Seemingly to both of them, the day would last perfectly. Flawlessly. They'd sleep all day through the chilly weather outside, curled up in a warm bundle of soft vegetation and bedding. But once a howl cut through the cave and rattled the walls of his chambers...the boy felt like crying forever. It was obviously Quelt's powerful, booming howl, summoning him and all the other royals on such a shitty day. Well...nothing he wouldn't expect from his father. Ixionn groaned and rolled over, pressing his head into the bedding and cringing as he felt lizard scales against his skin.
He could hear the soft groan of Drago, too, uncoiling and sinking into his friend's cuddly fur. The howl seemed to grow louder...and as if he was drunk and very sensitive, he murmured a few stubborn words. "He's so loud...it hurts my ears." The masked prince curled his body in and tucked his chin over his tail. The blue iguana, on the other hand, slowly awakened and crawled over Ixionn's body. Cringing to the weird feeling of those quick thin toes, he would shift and groan even louder. Drago hissed and smacked at his face with his tail.
"It sounds important...let's go." The masked yearling shot awake at the alarming 'smack', blinking and letting out powerful growls. "Ack! What the hell is wrong with you, that hurt!" Ixionn uncurled and lurched his body to one direction at a quick movement, smirking deviously as Drago tumbled off his body. The lizard-like creature hissed and struggled to his stubby feet. "You're unreasonable and pathetic. And lazy. Get off your fat ass and go see what your father needs." Drago was acting serious now, and Ixionn just groaned and slid up to his paws.
His companion held on to his neck and sprawled out across his head casually. His tail flopped into the eyes of the prince, and stubbornly would the man nip gently at the tip. Drago gaped and flew to attention immediately. A new evil look would play on the boy's face as he began to leave the chamber and travel toward the Polar Sound, where his father awaited his presence. "Revenge hurts, doesn't it?" Drago snorted and instead stretched out between his shifting shoulders.
Ixionn arrived to see Allen and his father there, standing side-by-side. He smiled and released a yawn, before making his way over to Quelt and obnoxiously lowering half his body to the ground as if he was bowing to a king. Well, he was. But he was taking it over-the-top. The young warrior stretched out one of his arms before him and shut his eyes gracefully. Then, he practically sung a greeting at a highly respectful tone. An almost annoying and pathetic tone. "Oh, my king, my great and powerful king. Good morning, good morning. I find no problem in waking up from a beautiful and peaceful nap just to be with you today!" If he had known Quelt was going to discuss ranks- he wouldn't have acted as pathetic.

Aiko heard her uncle Allen calling for her to follow him. ?Uncle Allen! Why do I have to go? Is this royal meeting really so important?? Aiko followed her uncle closely looking around the walls of the mine. ?I don?t even have anything to make me useful. What good is there of me even showing up??

As Aiko continued to follow her uncle she began to think to herself. Why did she always act like a pup? The answer was easy even to herself. She had no training in anything. Slowly she looked at her uncle. ?What?s going to happen to me?? Once there she sat next to her uncle.

Renhet heaved herself up after a long slumber. She hadn't been at the first meeting, but she sure as well would be at this one. Gaining speed on her paws, she stopped when she noticed her brother and sister were already here. Something, or someone was with ixionn. Making Renhet approach the creature curiously with wide eyes. "An animal who knows wolf language!" She exclaimed wagging her tail. She was a scientist, New things would always interest her no matter what they were. No matter how gruesome either.

"Hey, hey who taught you to speak like that, was it hard?" She asked her brothers companion. Looking at ixionn for a moment. She didn't think she was being rude if she was. Her observations could only go so far without questions or experiments. She had yet to find the willing victims to let her experiment behavior though. Maybe one day, you could never be to hopeful. She sat down wagging her tail back and forth.

Another day, another meeting. Though Serra did not begrudge her brother the right to call meetings whenever he desired, she was not the type who enjoyed this much interaction with all of her packmates. Sometimes, she needed time to herself. But this, at least, would be family. She could perhaps see some of her siblings again. If Sheikra showed, at any rate. Serra wasn't sure how she felt about the other wolfess being back, claiming Quelt's attention, but she could not be angry about it, could she? Not with Newol. Not when she was no longer as dedicated to her brother-king as she had once been.

Sighing, the wolf made her approach to the meeting, gaze still focused on the ground as she mulled over her thoughts. Silently, the slate blue wolfess settled back on her haunches, tail wrapping around on her paws as she turned her blue gaze on her brother. Whatever he had to say, she was eager to hear. It would be important, she was certain. He was not the type to waste the time of everyone.
