Kyung needed to see her, to see the only wolf in his life he still felt close too. His brother and mother had left, abandoning him, their trails long grown cold. Irune however, well he had kept tabs on her and more than once had entertained the idea of searching her out but the timing had never been good. Then he had met Echo, and everything had seemed to fall into place as it hadn't since his family had split. But now the earthy boy was gone and Kyung was once more alone. Digging himself into his duties to try and distract himself. It wasn't working. That was what drove him here, he had tracked her here to this pack, not far from his own. His stomach felt as though it was twisting up inside him and he bit back his first attempt at a howl. Taking a few deep breaths he tipped his head back and let out a call for his half-sister. "Speech."

She had been patrolling the boarders, giving herself something to do. She was puzzling over how to make this pack better, they needed more members, older and experienced ones. Wolves that could hunt and fight and they needed a healer. She was the only healer at the moment and felt that would be the next thing she was going to do. Either train someone or claim someone who was a healer. For the sake of the pack, she'd do anything. She shook out her fur as she picked up her pace to an easy trot, gliding over the land. She made sure to refreshing their scent markers along the way but other than that it was a rather boring patrol. That was until a howl called out for her. Ears perked up as she paused in mid-step. She was vague familiar with that voice, but had not heard it for far to long. She jumped forwards into a run to meet the caller, tail lifted high and jaws parted with tongue hanging out. As she came closer she almost tripped over her own paws with the sight of who it was. Ky, her half brother was the one who had called for her! She shook her head and sprinted the rest of the way with a joyful woof, tail wagging. Sliding to a halt and reared up slightly enough to pull her brother into a hug. "Ky! Wow its good to see you brother!" She said happily as she settled down to given him a look over. Again it seemed she would remain the midget of the group, always and forever. But size never stopped her before, look at Quelt.

Irune would not leave him waiting long and as he saw her moving towards him the knot in his stomach wrenched itself tighter. What was he doing here? That question pounded around in his head, and it only quieted slightly when he forcefully reminded himself he was here as to see his sister, nothing else. Just then things went from manageable for the boy to more than he was sure he could handle at the moment. Irune was running towards him, happy barks emitting from her. He forced himself to stay put though he was sure his expression was one of shock. That would only get worse as his half-sister suddenly reared up and wrapped her paws around him, tugging him into an embrace. He was only too aware of her form pressed into his, all too aware of the scent of her fur swirling inside his nose. One part of him wanted to stay like that forever, to feel comfort and love again, and another part of him wanted to jerk away as quickly as possible. Luckily the girl pulled back of her own volition and laid brilliant amber upon him. Her eyes looked so much like his mother's; he forced himself to look away. Despite it all he found himself smiling. "Good to see you too Irune." He flicked his tattered ear, briefly reminded of the pact the three of them had made oh so long ago, how things had changed since then. "Speech."

She was no fool nor blind to not see the shocked look on his face when she came to him. But why would he be shocked when he had been the one to come to her? Something was off, something was wrong. Unlike Ver who embraced her with as much love as she gave to him, Ky seemed like he wanted to pull away from her. Her tail would twitch, had she done something wrong? Perhaps he did not approve of her joining Quelt but wanted her with him, Ver and Athena? As his ear with the nick in it twitched her own would respond in the same manner. She had not forgotten their promise and never would. If Ky ever left Bevroren he was more than welcomed here. Irune could not help the thought that swirled in her mind. If her brothers joined her right now, would she take over the ruling of the pack with her brothers leading it at her side? Could she do that to Quelt? The answer she was afraid to know of and quickly pushed it away. She sat there for a moment in silence, studying him carefully."Ky, whats wrong? And you cant fool me, I know you too well. Even if we havnt seen each other in awhile. You are still my brother, my Ky." Her tone was softly but was slightly firm. She would not be bullshitted around, not even by him. Briefly she wondered where Riv was. She wished he was here, he too when seeing her was overjoyed. But Ky did not seen so happy.

Kyung was eating himself up, guilt mingled with a burning desire to get himself out of there! Still he steeled himself doing his best to conceal that less desirable side of him. He was glad to see her, he was just rethinking his whole plan and that scared him. All of this swirled in his mind while he religiously avoided her gaze, though he had his ears pointed in her direction in the event she was going to start speaking. Finally speak she did. Guilt once more over took him and he sighed turning his ebony gaze back upon her, softening slightly. "Sorry it's just been a while since I've spent any time with someone I'm close with? I'm not used to it." He chuckled sadly, it was a half-truth. " What about you though, how are you?" He said, hoping he didn't sound too eager to change the subject, his lack of companionship was not something he felt like discussing. "Speech."
