With the weather having settled now and the pack once more making themselves at home within the lands Novella decided that it was about time she paid a little trip to her allies or to be more exact her family. It was not be order of preference by any means that she made her decision to visit Sawtooth first, though she wanted to see how Novel was doing now and Ara too for that matter. The safety of the pack as a whole of course interested her, how had they coped in the storm? And that of course included her parents, were they ready to return home to Threar? She could escort them back if they were and whilst the children did wonder after them, she certainly wouldn't force the pair to return if they needed a little more time.
It wouldn't be too long before she would find herself drawing to a stop inside the borders of Sawtooth. There she would let out a call to her family to alert them all of her arrival and slowly continue into the lands that had once been part of her home. How she still missed the packs being one, though moving Threar had brought them closer to Abaven and the three Destruction alphas would simply need to make an effort to keep them all connected.
It wouldn't take long at all for one familiar face to appear before her. "Hello Dhiren" She would respond as her mismatched eyes would take a careful look at her nephew, searching for any injuries or visible harm. A warm smile would still find its way upon her muzzle and she nuzzled the boy in greeting once close enough. He seemed to be ok which was certainly good news, and hopefully everyone else in the pack was unscathed as well.
"I thought I would stop by and see how everyone was." She responded to the question now as she took a step back to leave a comfortable space between them for conversation. She wouldn't expand any further upon it, nor prompt Dhiren anymore for an answer, she was sure that he would be swift to answer it regardless.
She had been playing with Hymn and Psalm when she heard the voice of her sister ring out over the territory. Bright white ears would swivel in her direction, and knowing that Dhiren would be there to assist her the pace would be slow. Song would bid goodbye to her two grandsons, though they?d not come into the world how anyone had planned she found them an amazing blessing. The both of them were amazing. A smile would play on her features as she pursued her sister?s call, knowing it was a good time to see the woman. They needed to catch up on the damages done to the packs, and she had to know that everyone was alright.
She had been correct in assuming that her eldest son would find himself at Novella?s side, she?d feel her lips turn up amusedly as she moved to nuzzle both her son and her sister. She wondered how her newest nieces and nephews were doing. Hopefully they too made it through the storm without trouble. "Hello Novella, how are those beautiful babies of yours?" She?d ask as she came up to the other she wolf?s shoulder. "You know, you?ve got some great nephews to meet." She?d hint at Psalm and Hymn?s existence. She really needed to come and introduce herself.
"Threar was hit with some bad flooding, Symphony's healers den was completely flooded, we lost all of the stores she had built. Sorrel took quite a nasty hit to the head though he is alright now. We were quite lucky really, though we did travel to the Shrine for a while, with the rate the Fall's overflowed and with Sorrel's accident we thought it best to stay elsewhere." She would reveal Threar's experiences to her nephew now.
"I hope Sawtooth were all ok?" She would enquire though before Dhiren could get the chance to answer, Song would also appear. Her sister would step forwards to greet her and Novella would return the gesture. It seemed that she was still doing well, Novella observed though between the storms and Novel it couldn't have been the easiest of times for the woman.
"They're growing well, and far too fast. Aslan will be taller than me before the season is out if he carries on at this rate." She would respond though the topic of her own beautiful babies would be cast aside as Song hinted at the great nephews she had to meet. "Novel's had the babies?" Time had certainly flown past. "How are they? And how is she doing now?"
