i want to travel the world but i just can't do it alone (OOC: I was putting this after she visits Solstice, I tried to pick a place in between Solstice and Arcanum so he's all jacked up xD) Eyes looked down to his crooked nose. Maybe it was just swollen, he hoped so. He didn't want to look like Frankenstein his entire life. He was pretty thankful thought, it could have been plenty worse. Cat had much more of an opportunity. She could have done whatever she wanted. He hadn't heard from Talvi, he thought floated to her rarely since they met. If she had called for him, he most likely could not have heard it. So he might as well give her a try. He was looking forward to friends, he hadn't had... any. Well Titania but he shut her out of her life for some strange stupid reason. Just outside the treeline he would let out a loud but smooth call for her, waiting, hoping she would show. He made sure to stay out of the forest, so that he could be spotted. Rump would gently touch the ground in waiting. How long could he wait though? "Speech" so i'm just waiting on fate to come and wrap around me

Talvi had gotten more from her stop at Solstice than she had originally bargained for. It was no secret that the Armada family wasn't exactly small, Isardis had seen to that alone with his rather large collection of children. He hadn't exactly been the model father to them all though she had witnessed in his own way how he had cared for his blood. Not all of them had been spoken of however, such as the way she had been welcomed into Glaciem from a young age but never introduced as his granddaughter. She had always thought that he was the only named Armada that knew the truth of her heritage, though in Solstice it had been revealed this was not the case. An aunt knew of her.



She hadn't stayed for long. There was the line that she had others to see, more packs to meet yet even Talvi knew that it wasn't fully the case. Some part of her had been curious, Caeto and any other allies cast aside though something within her hadn't cowered to that secret desire. She had remained strong, Sibelle wasn't really family after all, not by the blue and silver girl's definition anyway. The russet woman had never been there for her as an aunt, she would have to earn that title and such efforts wouldn't be initially extended by Talvi.



So here she was wondering once more, and it was then that she had heard Caeto's call. Where the male had gone she hadn't known though with his presence once more brought to her attention she would make her way to him now and soon she would find him. The sight however was not what she had expected to see and it was a frown that would meet her features as she froze before him. "What happened?" Was that concern in her voice?

As she approached more, Caeto crossed his eyes to his nose before looking back to her and then closing some distance between them. "Just a mishap." He would speak with a shake of his head. He would stop maybe a couple feet between them, wondering of what she had done since their last meeting. Well this was only their second time meeting so a simple hello could have been in order. "Hey, how you been?" He was thinking like a normal wolf for once, what had been an awkward, silent boy was finally coming out of his shell a little. Actually learning how to socialize if anything. He wasn't too worried about what happened to him in Arcanum, and he wasn't quite ready or comfortable with Talvi to open up in that way. In the Zaria feeling in that case. "Speech" so i'm just waiting on fate to come and wrap around me

Where Talvi was shocked by the wounds that the russet boy now bore, Caeto himself didn't seem fazed at all by them. In fact he'd even attempt a look at his nose now as if he hadn't realised it was injured an act that would briefly remind her of the dimwitted behaviour he had initially displayed. Perhaps he simply wasn't aware of how bad it looked, she'd let that slide though his answer on the other hand wouldn't suffice.



"A mishap?" She queried, her voice portraying her doubts and concern as she spoke. "That looks a little more than a mishap." She wouldn't pressure him too much for the explanation though her words would certainly let him know she wasn't quite buying his lack of reason. She may have barely known Caeto, already she could see him becoming a potential friend, his company wasn't exactly unwanted and he had offered her more than many of her own family had ever done.



He would attempt to brush off her concern and his wounds by enquiring into her own life since they had departed. "Better than you it seems." She responded. It was clearly the truth physically though mentally was a slightly different story, meeting her estranged family wasn't exactly her idea of a great time in most cases.

i want to travel the world but i just can't do it alone Better than him? Please, for once... or for the second time in his life everything was coming back together. "Really?" He would sound almost joking though he was very serious. "I'm feeling better than the last we met." Smile, smile, smile; it was like his thing now. When he met his mother, he was harsh and cold. But then after he had gone to Arcanum and met with her then, he saw his selfish act and made up. Well maybe he wasn't better, maybe the same. He had learned that his father had an affair before disappearing from Alacritis. He brushed that off when Epiphron admitted, but he hadn't had that much time to think of it. Well he had plenty, maybe he just forgot. That was probably a good thing. "Are you out on a mission? Since you aren't North, I mean." Oh wow... had he called for her so far from home? Well it wouldn't be the first time he did that to someone. He pretty much lost his mind on his brother that he could swear ignored his call. But really, maybe he should think before doing such things and then holding a grudge against them. "Speech" so i'm just waiting on fate to come and wrap around me

So Caeto apparently hadn't been feeling all that great when they had first met? Well that certainly explained a few things, his awkwardness of his behaviour, that initial struggle to get words out of the russet boy and how hard it had been for an actual conversation to begin with. Feelings aside however he still didn't look better. Sure that blank stare had gone replaced with somewhat more emotive features there was a sense of life as he looked at her though the way he brushed off the injuries as a 'mishap' rather than a rough spar or something would leave her a little worried.



"Well physically I'm certainly better." She would correct. Perhaps if he felt better then he was in fact actually doing better than her though she wouldn't dive into such truths. "Try refrain walking into mountains or whatever it is you've done though. You won't be feeling better for long if you keep that up." She wouldn't investigate any further, clearly he wished not to share the truth behind his wounds. It clearly didn't stop her offering some concerned advice for him however.



Perhaps if she was a more humorous girl or had shared the fact she had thought him rather dimwitted and slow during the early stages of their first meeting she would have made some joke about his detective skills. Instead however she would cut straight to the point. "Well you'd have realised that if you stuck around." He had agreed to travel with her after all though until he had called her just now she hadn't been sure when they'd meet again. "Exploring, remember. Though a mission of sorts as well, a casual meeting up with allies." She responded with the truth and though she doubted he'd enquire as to how the meetings were going, she already knew she'd refrain from sharing her findings in Solstice.

He was amused by her reference for his injuries, though he wouldn't dwell on that for long. She would remind him, of exploring. And he would listen as she said she was meeting up with allies. He wondered who Arcanum allied with. If they allied with Talvi's pack. "I don't remember asking, what pack do you live in?" He would wait only a second for an answer, she didn't have enough time to respond. He may have seemed eager, and that might have been odd. Maybe even rude, but whatever it was too late. "And could I ask who you ally?" Very strange question. Was that even a privacy thing? Caeto didn't remember, or simply didn't know. He was pretty young when learning about running a pack. He left pretty early too. Of course he wouldn't be offended if she refused, hopefully he didn't offend her. "Speech" so i'm just waiting on fate to come and wrap around me

The comment seemed to have lightened the mood from the more serious discussion of injuries and well-being though in Talvi's case the concerns of course still existed. They were they friends of a sort she supposed as little sense as it made. People were not easily let into Talvi's life after all, family certainly wasn't a word thrown out freely but equally so it was only really they who held the title of friend as well. Such thoughts wouldn't trouble her now though later down the line, perhaps when she realised the oddity of it all she would begin to question it slightly more. For now they would move along in their conversation, the topic of her pack rising.

She began to open her mouth to answer though before even a single word could leave her lips Caeto was speaking once more. Clearly the russet male had certainly come out of his shell from the seemingly dimwitted individual she had met on Waterfall peak. She had pushed to get words out of him then and now he simply was eager to keep going. Fortunately he had some sense of when to shut up, it meant she certainly preferred this to the first impression he had given her and not once did she consider him as being rude.


"Bevroren." She began simply. "Solstice are the allies I have recently visited though we're allied with Isokan and Abaven as well."

ooc: So there are possibly more packs they were allied with but I can't remember which. Bad timing between pack handovers and adventures!
