Her life was slowly getting better. She was no longer depressed about being homeless, but rather drawn to the idea of being in a new place every time she woke up. Even though she didn't have the consistency of her family around her every day, she knew that they were around and if she called, they would come. Independence was new to her and she had to work on knowing what it felt like to be on her own. Once she got bored with it, she would move onto something else.
Regret was not a word in her dictionary or personality. This random thought ran through her mind one evening as she walked along a dangerous path that led to a gorgeous piece of cliff. With one paw in front of the other, she leaned against the mountain wall as she climbed the altitude for her reward. With the moon upon her form, she thought back to the night she had spent with Scorpion. Her loins burned for him at that moment, saliva threatening to drip from her black lips. Oh my god, why had she waited so long to get laid?
After a few seconds, she found herself reaching the top of the cliff. A meadow stretched for a good half mile as she admired the serenity of the moonlit greenery. She pulled herself up, dainty paws carrying her frame across the barely touched scene. Everything about it was magical and she secretly yearned for Scorpion to be there...Too bad he didn't obsessively follow her. She could have used him, then.




"Speech"

This land certainly had some fantastic views, he would give it that much. As he sat atop this white, glittering cliff, he looked out over the ocean that lapped away at the thin shoreline below. It was gorgeous here, almost gorgeous enough for him to forget about his homeland. He wasn't sure why he still thought about it anyway. It wasn't like he could ever go back, not when there were wolves there that hated his bloodline. It didn't matter that he wasn't directly apart of the Xanilovs, he carried their distinctive markings and they might as well be marks for death back home. He sighed softly, closing his eyes as a cool breeze came up off the side of the cliff, ruffling his fur and bringing the salty scent to his nose. Another scent caught his attention and he opened his muted gaze in search of its source. This place had become a safe haven for when he wanted to be alone, but an unexpected scent of a fea wasn't entirely unwelcome. After he ran into that wolf from home, he had slowly began to calm down and settle into this place called Alacritis. He no longer felt the need to hedge away from every scent he smelled. Glancing over his shoulder, he finally spotted the blue-tinted, gold marked fea that was the source of the intrusion. His eyes traced her intricate marks before coming back up to her bright gaze. Well, she was certainly pretty at least. "Hello," he said with a nod toward the spot beside him. "Care to enjoy the view with me?" ""

She hadn't expected to find anyone here, especially when its location was dangerously high from the ground. Every step Pandora had taken had been with caution, simply because she didn't want to end up mountain meat. As she noticed the stranger, she took in the details of his massive frame. How could someone so large end up here? She didn't know how he did it, but a tiny bit of her was impressed. He greeted her without hesitation, something she found interesting. The past couple of males she had met were not as open, but rather paused and took her in as a whole. Pandora was used to the look he gave her. The swirls and designs upon her body were given to her for a specific reason from above, and she had no reason to not flaunt them. A soft smile appeared on her face at his offer and she slowly padded towards the empty spot. "Only if you promise not to eat me," she chided, eyebrow rising above her right eye as she pushed aside her burning desires. She didn't know how things would end up with this stranger, but the part of Maija that rarely saw sunlight was radiating from her cobalt frame without being ashamed. As she moved to sit beside him, the moonlight caught hold of her beautiful form. Shimmering tattoo-like symbols on her shoulders and the zebra stripes on her flanks could blind anyone at the right angle. Golden-backed ears perked forward as she met his gaze with her own of pure turquoise blue. "I didn't know anyone else would be out here," she admitted, tones gentle and innocent...as if her mind wasn't a dirty one. Talk like this

He scoffed at her response, a slight smirk touching his muzzle. "Well, I'll do my best, but no promises," he replied, a grin tugging at his muzzle as he said it. Coming to this new land was slowly beginning to appear to be a good choice. Beautiful views, beautiful girls, what more could a wolf want? She came over to sit beside him and it was like hew whole form lit up as she stepped into the moonlight. It was captivating to say the least. He peered down at her with intrigue, his eyes tracing the intricate gold marks that ran all over her body until she spoke again and pulled his attention back up to her liquid blue gaze. She was gorgeous, but he had a feeling that his recent exile only made him more hungry for the interaction.

"Neither did I," he replied, his eyes still glued to her. "Especially with how hard it is to get up here. The view from here is worth the trip though, I think, even though it pales in comparision to you." He smirked and let his eyes glance down her body again. He wasn't sure if he was being too forward or not, it was one of the very few times he had gotten the chance to have a real conversation in months and he had flirted even fewer times than that. He was sure that if he was overstepping some boundary she would make it known. Until that happened he would just go on as he was. "Tell me, gorgeous, what can I call you?"

His flirting was rusty, but Pandora thought it was cute. She didn't mind having a newbie attempt to charm her. If he didn't work it out himself, she would be able to figure out how to work him up. Turquoise eyes shimmered as she watched him still checking her out, a trait of men that was unavoidable for her. Her tail lightly tapped against her legs as she listened to him speak. Words finally came from her lips when he took a break to breathe. "Well, thank you, stranger," she gently chided, a soft giggle shortly following thereafter. He was then curious about her name and what he could call her. She thought about telling him, 'You can call me anything you want,' but she didn't want to end up being called something negative. Instead, she remained honest, and told him, "Pandora...Pandora Artenie." She didn't spill the beans of her whole name, only because she didn't want to end up being paranoid if this 'date' ended up being bad. "And you, dear sir?"

He was grateful that she didn't seem to mind his poor excuse for flirting. He watched her with interest as she enlightened him on her name. "A beautiful name for a beautiful lady," he mentioned with a small smirk. He recognized how corny he must sound, but he only spoke what he viewed to be the truth. Besides, he kind of liked this playful banter they seemed to be having. She went on to ask his name and he dipped his head in a small bow as he spoke, not quite able to rid himself of the gentlemanly motions his mother had taught him as a pup. "Nikolai Bierne, at your service."

He had no real expectations for this chance meeting, but he wasn't going to limit where it might lead. At this point, he was simply glad someone was willing to give him the time of day without wanting to kill him. Her being gorgeous only sweetened the deal. "What brings you up here all by yourself so late at night, hm?" he asked curiously, his pale gaze finding her brilliantly blue one. It seemed like every time he looked at her he noticed some other interesting trace of gold on her slate-blue form. It made even simply looking at her intriguing.

His comment made her giggle in response, something she was hadn't done yet. She shyly reacted, face bowing to her chest as she looked away. "Oh please, you are making me blush all over," she chided, soft smile still dancing on her dark kissers. She looked at him from the side, eyes daintily fluttering twice before she quickly recovered. If he could do that with words, she could only imagine how she would react by his actions. The male gave his name and she nodded. "Pleasure to meet you, Nikolai Bierne." The name was unfamiliar and she wondered if he was going to become a well-known wolf one day. He then asked her of her reasons for being on the Cliffs so late at night and she gave him a good answer. "Curiosity, for the most part. I hadn't been up here yet and one of my aunts told me about its existence. Quite frankly, it was worth the dangerous trip." She looked at him with a gentle expression in her gaze. "What about you, Mister Bierne?" The silver lining of her words was that she wanted to see if she could come up with a name that would stick. "Speech"

The neutral colored male watched as this interesting girl looked away shyly at her compliment, making him chuckle quietly to himself. Her reaction was adorable really and he could see himself easily loving making her react like that. Nikolai was actually a little surprised at himself for being so open with her so easily. It was the first time since he had arrived here that he had been able to have a real conversation with anyone, but he wasn't about to question it. He really just wanted to enjoy the fact that he had a beautiful wolf talking to him and for a moment not think about his past. He nodded with understanding at her reason for being up here. It certainly was a beautiful spot, one that was certainly worth the slightly perilous trip. "Your aunt is a wise woman," he commented before she went on to ask her own question of him. He caught the wording for her name for him and he smirked at it but didn't comment. He liked the nickname even though it made him feel old in a weird way. "Honestly, I had made this spot my hide out. I haven't been in Alacritis very long and my old home wasn't exactly the most friendly of places so I went looking for a place to hide. This turned out to be a perfect spot. Like you said, the views are worth the trip." He paused before adding, "I've actually made myself a little bed up here, if you end up wanting to rest before heading back to where ever you usually live." It might have been a little bold and he would never want to make any fea uncomfortable, but really he did it to be gentlemanly. It was late and he knew the trip up here could be tiring in of itself. Of course he wouldn't turn down having someone to share his bed with, but that wasn't his reason for asking. ""

Nikolai responded with conversing words, keeping Pandora interested in what he had to say. She was enticed by him being here and maintaining it has his hideout. The location was away from prying eyes and the climb was enough to make anyone want to give up. However, she was glad that she had prevailed by reaching the top of the moonlit valley. If she hadn't, she wouldn't have been able to meet him...a fine specimen indeed. His invitation for her to share his bed made her ears perk even more. A knowing smile slipped upon her features, tail lightly flicking across the ground near her glistening flanks. "That is so...polite of you to offer, Nikolai," she said, soft lyrics dancing upon nearby breezes. "I may have to take you up on it, especially since where I live is so far from here." Give or take ten miles, Pandora had the world on a string; she could sleep anywhere she wanted that wasn't claimed. Talk like this
