Where snow congregated, Noel had chosen to return in his search for, while not a pack, at least a friendship or more than one. Wandering was but something he enjoyed, wanderlust continual throughout his ventricles. And in the snow he was far less likely to be found. The cold would nip at ones nose, the icy wind not carrying smells so easily, or so he thought. Plus with his pelt he was able to camouflage himself. He'd learned that some time ago when he and his siblings had played in the snow. His mother, sister Tanakanaka and himself were always the last to be found in a game of hide and seek. At least during the winter, other times it was a bit difficult.

As he trotted on the snowfalls, he was careful to watch out for problems. Yet he jumped back and forth, lowering himself into a play bow. Then he'd take to rolling around in the snow as if trying to make a snow angel. No, the snows of winter were just that much fun, even when it wasn't winter. But he knew there were places where winter was a near constant. On some mountain peaks and higher elevated land there was oft more snow to be found. Not always freezing, but cold enough.

Growing tired from his solitary game, he lay upon his stomach and took a mouthful of snow into his mouth - making certain it wasn't the yellow snow which had formed after he had relieved his bladder. The cool crisp snow turned into liquid that he swallowed, re-hydrating himself after his vigorous activities.

She had not seen or heard from her family in quite some time, in fact she was borderline actively avoiding them. She had seen Nike not too long ago and that had been... Nice. But there rest of her family she made the choice not to try and find. She felt out of place with them, all of them so outgoing and easy to talk to each other and she was just the quiet face in the background that watched everything, planned things but rarely spoke. How had she been born to that family? She seemed so out of place. Was that why her mother had decided to have another litter? To replace her? She would kick the snow absently, walking without a real purpose through the cold lands. She had come up here with a thought in her mind to maybe meet some of her dad's family but her... cousin? Athena had handed off her throne, so Bella had heard through the grapevine, and Bella didn't know if she was even still around. No point visiting a pack full of relatives she didn't even know their names. A sigh dropped from her lips as the woman moved south through the snow. She didn't even like the cold, why had she come here? It was all so stupid. Neck lowered and shoulders hunched against the snow as she walked. She moved without interruption until the sound of sliding snow caught her attention. Aqua gaze would follow the male as he frolicked and played through the snow, a look of complete disinterest playing on her features as her head would move to follow him. But she would make no move to speak to him or draw his attention to her. She would simply watch.

Noel had never minded being watched, but he knew when someone was looking at him. Of course there were birds that liked to watch everyone from the skies. Not that he knew any of them and they would be a delicious morsel to gulp down. Shaking his head he leaped up onto all fours. Spotting the dark figure on the blanket of white, his tail wagged.
"Hello!" He wasn't interested in anything at that moment but enjoying himself. And while she didn't look like she'd like to play, he invited anyway. "Would you like to play, pretty lady? Sorry, I don't know your name, but mines Noel." He didn't have to give his full name all the time, he hoped. Besides he was a little breathless by the end of that little introduction anyway to say another word until he'd taken in a few cool lungfuls of air.

He leaped toward her, paws landing in the snow as he gave a play-bow, tail swaying to and fro with the excitement from his time playing in the snow.
