The cliffs were dangerous, he didn't want to be near them. Yet somehow he reached this location on his journey of exploration of these new foreign lands he would be calling home. A Rabbit hung from his jaws that he had caught earlier, food was precious so as he dug into it, he noted the area and how many other rabbits he had seen along the way. Her dark paws would carry the dainty girl to the edges of the thickets, her bright bicolored eyes coming to fall on an immense pit before her. Sparkling water would decorate the bottom, the clear water easily reflecting the tall cliffs surrounding. Curiosity would fill her, but with the day getting on she?d decide to find a place to hole up and rest for a bit. She?d find herself maneuvering to a particularly precarious ledge, of course though this one would be the most comfortable. With great care she would make her way on those sharp cliffs, seemingly completely at ease. Her form would fit perfectly on her tall perch, and for a while she would lay there, drifting in and out of a light sleep. Soon enough though the tantalizing scent of fresh killed rabbit would grab her attention. Softly she?d find herself awake, gem-like eyes opening to look down on a wolf and his kill. She?d observe silently as he moved from it to the ledge, seeming a bit nervous about his proximity. Rhythm would look on curiously, a smile playing at the corners of her lips. ""

Still confident in her hard-to-reach space she?d become taken aback. Would he attack her? He might after she stuck her tongue out at him. That?s what she thought of his aggression. Though he was being more defensive than aggressive, did he think that she was going to hurt him? She?d almost laugh out loud at the thought. Still very much comfortable and rather well displayed upon her ledge Rhythm would make no motions and would continue her observation of him. His emotionless eyes would then pull away from her, he no longer needed to study her she wasn't approaching so it was useless to even try and pretend he cared. As he sniffed the ground, he tried to memorize the scent that plastered itself here. Her pack no doubt lived nearby, another thing to avoid for his own survival. Black tail flicking back and forth as he raised his body looking at the sky. What kinds of birds came here, if they were easy to catch he could use them as a source of food, yet so far this region did not strike him as complete. She?d keep an eye on him, but as soon as she snuck her tongue in his direction it was obvious that he would cool off. She would lose all her worry over him then as he too lost interest within her. Still her bright blue and purple eyes would linger on his form. She?d lower he graceful features perfectly to her paws her dark eyelids closing slightly. He?d turn away from her lookout, his mind obviously elsewhere as Rhythm felt the need for her rest return. She still was not finished scouting yet. She was getting better, she almost knew all of the East by heart. She still had to get further though, and now that she was a healer she needed to start making note of where herbs grew. Unlike the wolf before her Rhythm would not have her mind anywhere near the thought of the stranger as a potential mate. Rhythm?s first priority would never be reproduction, after being around Motif so much she desired children of her own even less. These thoughts were not in her mind as she contemplated the possibility of an herb collection. Winter would soon be upon them and she knew she?d have to travel even further to collect the much needed plants. Her eyes would still watch him through out her thoughts, even though her thoughts left him. Suddenly he?d turn back to her, she wouldn?t move, only watch, as he made his approach towards her perch. She was easily ten feet from the ground, resting gracefully on the tiny jutting stone. He?d have to work a lot harder to get close to her.
