Al?wo

Al?wo was out of the loop. She had no idea about the effects the Northern invaders had already had on members of the Tahtla, knew nothing of any drama or happiness happening within the lives of her fellow tribe members. The girl had kept herself wrapped up in her own isolation, her own uneventful and quiet life taking priority and keeping her from anything remotely interesting, exciting and thankfully out of danger as well.

Needless to say she was not getting anywhere fast with developing any real bonds with anyone around her now. The only people she had let into her life had been taken away from her, by acts of god or acts of the tribe and her walls were going to be pretty hard to knock down now and fact that was surely as clear as day. When had she last spoken to any of her so called tribe members? The lonely life just made it clear how easy it would be to slip away from these wolves and try to find her father. Out of respect for him however she wouldn't dare though the temptation certainly existed, a nagging desire to flee from these wolves. They meant nothing to her and equally she was sure she meant nothing to them.

The life was an empty one though, even Al?wo would certainly have no choice but to admit to that depressing truth. Alone she passed through the trees, she had no aim as to where to travel through the grove, let alone which direction to take her life in.

Istaqa marched silently through the trees as well, completely unaware of the other wolf slowly winding her along her less than merry way. There was much on his mind, he had yet to meet any of the northern wolves as many other had, a blessing in his mind and yet it worried him? if this was the way of the gods then sooner or later he?d have a run in? That scared him and he was doing his best to remain away from the land bridge. Still he had slowly become aware of their ugly stench on lands further inland?
Istaqa rounded a tree, his gaze landing upon a form he recognized vaguely as Tahtla. A softy huffy back announced his presence. Istaqa would remain still, allowing the woman he choice of approaching or not. This was a girl he was woefully under informed on? even her name evaded him which was rare enough for him.

Al?wo

Solitude always had a way of ending at some point especially when you were part of a tribe and never strayed completely from them. You could only hide for so long from the world and it seemed that this round had ended for Al?wo now someone was seeking her out. The checks on her had stopped now, the tribe far too caught up with the threat of the Northern strangers. She had been fine with that, though somehow she had caught the attention of somebody. His scent strongly suggested he was also a Tahtla wolf though his name certainly wasn't one that Al?wo could recall if she had ever heard it before.

For whatever reason however he wasn't just going to vanish it seemed. He had called out to her and apparently didn't simply want to wander past as though they'd never seen each other. He hadn't approached, had said nothing else there was still a hope for her to be able to slip by without committing to spending any time and effort with this male and yet deep down she knew that to take that path was in some ways the wrong one. Her loyalties didn't lie fully with the tribe though so far none had doubted that instead pretended to be understanding of her situation and guess in time she would eventually come out of her shell and warm up to them. Yeah right. She'd play the part though.

"Kaabo." Came a simple response. Not hostile in tone but nor was it particularly friendly or welcoming. She would rely on the shy persona she'd earned for now.
