They got so little time to spend together without the intrusion of the pack, though she supposed that was the price of running a pack. Still Alamea didn?t have to like it. It would be winter soon and with that would come her heat once more, her babies were almost 2 years old and she wanted nothing more than to bring more life back into the world, her body craving it. Clearly her body had forgotten the pain of pregnancy but even as her mind screamed that at her she was powerless to ignore the natural instinct calling for her to once more have children.
The small snowy woman padded quietly through the pack lands, rose orbs scanning for her mate. Her nose twitching and doing its best to discern between stale scents and the fresh version of the oh so familiar scent of Rune.

Walk | Talk | Think

(( -breaks out the couple table- ))

He was going to do it. He was going to call the pack meeting soon and he was going to tell the pack what had been on his mind lately, what he wanted to see them do and what he wanted changed. It was time, overdue in fact, and he could no longer drag his paws about doing it anymore. But not before he finished his patrol. He needed time to gather his thoughts and figure out how he was going to say it all anyway.

He was there within the Prairie, making his way toward the border, when he spotted a small figure out white moving through the grasses. His frosty gaze did a double take before he stopped, pausing only briefly before his dark paws changed their direction. What was Alamea up to? And when was the last time he had seen her alone outside of the den they shared long enough to hold a conversation with her during daylight hours? Hurrying his stride, Rune closed the distance more quickly, for once smiling, however small a smile it might have been, at the sight of his mate.

"Alamea," he greeted her, her name spoken gently from his lips as he slowed and moved in to press his face into the side of her neck, breathing in deeply her scent. As nice as it was to share a den with her, being able to interrupt his day with her was even sweeter. Drawing back a quick kiss was placed against her cheek before he questioned curiously, "You're a pleasant surprise. Were you coming to get me?" It had seemed like her direction had been aimed at him, but, then again, maybe he had observed wrong.
