So much was going on, he could hardly take it all in. His poor brain seemed to be in overdrive and it would become rather difficult to focus on one thing too long. His father's black pet giving birth to.. siblings? He was still trying to figure out the workings of his father's relationships. He didn't see how they were siblings with out being their mother's children. Of course, once he realized where babies come from it was likely he'd understand much better. Until then he would find himself in confusion.

The boy was lying on the cold beach, the harsh ocean breeze causing icicles to form within his coat. He found it relaxing though, it was just him and the wind no other creature was stupid enough to brave this nasty weather. Lian would ponder how he would become more like his father, he protected both Jian and the black woman. (though the latter seemed more like imprisoned.) He knew he wanted to do the same someday. To take care of his sister and the she wolves he found pretty, because he could not deny the beauty of the black wench.

He would sigh heavily, the future seemed so confusing. He didn't know how he was going to become as impressive as his father, he was still so small. He tried to make Zola do what he wanted, but she didn't ever fight him. He felt like he loved her too much to ever make her feel like Lel made his prize feel. Shaking his head he'd try to clear the thoughts from his head, he was getting much too cold to be out here any longer. Quietly he would rise, paws dragging him back to the cavernous boat and Zola's side.

Zola was spread out in the chamber they normally slept in. Sometimes pups may have wished that their first snow would come quicker; spring pups, summer pups. But Zola wouldn't understand that, because here she was in a metal encasement as the snow freezed everything outside. The only thing to keep her tiny body warm was her brother. Which, to her surprise, was also not in the claimed den.

She laid there thinking of the little creatures that came from the black lady. She refused to believe they were siblings, children of her father. She would never look at them as her brother and sister. They were probably hiding in the back with their beloved mother.

Sick.

It was odd that she couldn't see Callisto and her children just as Jian and them. Even though the woman wouldn't be here long. She would be up and out and leave the children behind for them to deal with. Of course Zola didn't know that was Lel's plan anyway.

But then she heard claws click across the floor and a slight crack of the metal bending as her brother laid down close beside her. She would only lay there for a moment, he back to him like she were sleeping. And then she rolled over to the other side, all four of her legs landing on him. She realized his wet, frozen, and cold fur as soon as she touched him but didn't back off. She squiggled her way closer to him, her legs curling up between their bodies.

"Why'd you go outside?"

She would whisper, something that was always instinct in small and quiet spaces. Of course, that was just always for her, because she was always in the den.

Lazily his paws would carry him within the confines of the cold unwelcoming ship, however the wolf he found in there was all he'd ever need. The sleeping form of his sister would greet him and easily the boy would lay beside her softly, not wanting to wake her up just steal a bit of the warmth she held. He wouldn't be there for very long before he'd feel her shift, her legs coming to rest over his back. He wondered if she would stay like that after she figured out how wet he was, he didn't want her to move though as his own warmth was increasing.

He needn't worry as she snuggled in closer, her lips opening to allow him a question to be asked. She need to know what had drawn him outside of their shelter. A loud sigh would fall from his lips as he turned over to face his sister. "S'quiet." He'd comment easily, even now as they lay together Callisto's neglected brat's screams echoing through the ship. He'd nuzzle her cheek softly, "How's your nap?" He'd ask back, wondering if they'd get to talk about the new additions to Lel's collection.

It was quiet outside? But it was freezing. Zola slept through it all, perhaps Lian wasn't such a heavy sleeper like she was. But just as he mentioned it, the girl would realize the cries in the background and start to get agitated by them.

"Maybe too much sleep." She would speak as he nuzzled her cheek. "Won't be sleepin' now." She gave him a devilish grin, almost as if she were saying "Thanks for pointing that out."

She moved her eyes around their encasement, following the echoing voices around them. It was almost scary, like they were voices inside her head.

She moved one of her paws to touch his chest gently and then pushed at his paw to play with it a little. Her eyes narrowed as she focused on their paws, maybe a little frustration and definitely anger. But obviously it was the two babies screaming their obnoxious ways that was getting to her.

"I don't want 'em here."

Not really caring how Lain felt about the pups, though he felt pretty much the same as her. Her voice was just so blunt to those last words. If her face didn't say how much she hated them, her voice did.

He'd pull back to see her unappreciative grin, returning a rather amused one of his own he'd try not to focus on them. Zola would provide distraction as she batted gently against his paw, obviously in frustration, her eyes focusing angrily. Her words wouldn't let him forget about them, but he couldn't disagree with her words. He was however almost startled at the intensity with which she despised them. He'd purr rather pleasantly. "I don't think Father will want to though," The disappointment in his voice was evident, from what he had seen there was no way Lel was going let them go. He'd huff feeling the frustration that she did. He wanted to hurt them, but knew their Father would easily go into a rage. "We can't even do anything."

Paw laid limp to his chest again, her body would slightly rise to be able to look at him with an evil curl to her lip. They couldn't do anything? Surely they could do something other than sit and watch. What fun would that be?

"We don't have to accept them."

Her head then dropped to the fur of his scruff as she pulled him in closer to their cuddle. Lel wouldn't abandon them, she could only hope that he would boot the other children before her and Lian. She wasn't scarred of that, and if anything Lel couldn't control the way she felt.

"Dad will have to let them go if we don't play nice."

She would be mad if Lian didn't agree with her, but either way she would put the pups through hell. She didn't want them here, and no one could alter her mind about that.
