Laying next the humming creek the King of Regium rested his head on his paws. The sun was starting it's downward path across the sky and the birds were chattering lightly as spring began to break more and more into the harsh bite of winter. The redwoods still towered above him and not since he was a child had he felt so small. It was humbling. His father's form came into view beside the Moving Water Thing, and Atreides picked up the pace, short white-booted legs working faster to carry him up to the warm side of his father. "Whatcha doing?" he whispered, tilting his head slightly to try to see his dad while also keeping an eye on the water so he could try to see whatever his dad was looking at.
