Shakespeare didn't like Cascade, the boy didn't like Valentine much either for that matter. Perhaps the main problem was simply that he was here against his will, parted from his parents for reasons he still couldn't quite understand. Caesar wasn't much help, asking all the wrong questions in his opinion and poor Colette would openly express the sorrow that Shakespeare kept bottled up and hidden away from their captors.

There were other children as well that he now had to put up with. They too were three siblings though unlike Shakespeare and his litter, belonged here in this den. Cascade was their mother and this Valentine their father. Was Valentine not happy with the three children he had though that he had to go and take more? He couldn't make sense of it, nor did he want to. He just wanted Valentine to let them go back their parents.

The boy had developed a bit of a knack for quietly sneaking out of the den during chaos even when it had been simply his family, not these strangers. Whilst he didn't really want to leave Colette alone, he'd abuse the capability now, venturing outside and travelling a short distance from the den. He longed to continue all the way, race back to his parents though he wouldn't stray that far from his sister or even Caesar. Whilst the boy seemed to be coping a lot better, Shakespeare honestly felt that the entire family ought to be together. These people were not his family nor would they ever be.

It didn't take all that long for one of the interlopers to wander off, and Vana's nose wrinkled as she stared at the path he'd taken, waiting for Cascade to notice and go get him. No such luck - whether her mother was blithely unaware of his absence or deliberately letting him wander, either way the boy was leaving after Daddy had said that they were supposed to stay put. As distasteful as it was to have to babysit, Daddy wouldn't be too pleased if one of these pups got lost or stomped on by a buffalo. So Vana had grumpily rose to her feet and stalked after the ungrateful brat and tracked him... here. Where he was, boringly, alone and, boringly, doing nothing. At least Toxin had been interesting, and now he'd been replaced by this thing. Marching up to the dull boy, she glared at him. "Mother and Daddy wouldn't be very happy with you for running off."

He had hoped for isolation, for peace and quiet. It was hard to come by and even harder now that the number of pups had doubled. Whilst Shakespeare had indeed been irritated by his own siblings sometimes however, these other three pups were worse. They hadn't done anything horribly wrong though he felt even more uncomfortable and out of place around them.

He would hear the soft footsteps before the scent would be picked up. Who had followed him? To his dismay it was one of the Cascade and Valentine's children not one he could say he was pleased to see either. Seraphim had at least seemed somewhat friendly this girl however Shakespeare didn't like the impression she gave off nor would he like the bossy way the younger girl now declared his absence from that strange den would make two wolves he couldn't care less about unhappy.

"There was no running. And they're not my parents." Shakespeare responded, his own tone rather calm still as he stated the very basic facts. He had hardly gone very far anyway. Leaving them was of course an ideal situation though with his siblings and his parents, he wasn't going to really go off completely on his own.

The brown boy was quite rude, and Evangeline had no problem with expressing her distaste with a stormy frown. She wasn't stupid, she knew they weren't his parents. It was pretty obvious since they were her parents so theycouldn't be his parents. "It's an expression," she told him with a dramatic sigh. Gah, boys could be so dense. "And it doesn't matter that they're not your parents because Daddy is your alpha and said you were to stay with Mother so you have to listen. Didn't your parents teach you anything?" She wrinkled her nose at him. She knew he hadn't been from a pack because they didn't smell like a pack like Grammy Cat and Viola had, but really! How backwoods was his family that he didn't even know to listen to the alpha?

Shakespeare personally thought that she was the rude one, running over here and suddenly assuming he was running away. All he wanted was a bit of peace and quiet, was that so difficult to understand? Even she must have found that the den was suddenly more cramped, they'd both only shared with their siblings up to this point and now suddenly two litters were thrown in together.

Now rather than leaving him alone she would only continue to explain the matter, pointing out bluntly things that he already knew and cared little for. In the case of the alpha instance, it annoyed him to no end. He didn't want to be here, didn't want Valentine to be his alpha and couldn't understand still why on earth they were here. Had he ever discovered Caesar was the one to get them into this mess, it was safe to say that Shakespeare would have been even less than amused with his brother.

"I'm well aware of that fact and I never wanted him to be my alpha." He answered, again keeping his voice rather level despite everything. "Now, I know exactly how to get back to the den, can even nearly hear and see it all from this point. I'm sure even you can understand just how crowded that place is. I want some quiet and you aren't really helping provide that." Still calm he would explain it all in detail, perhaps if he spelt it all out for her she might actually let him enjoy a moment of peace.
