The pack he had scented as being their neighbors would linger further in his mind. He knew that as soon as they had established themselves in the world and gotten to know some of the packs he and Voltage would become Alphas as soon as they could, with the intention of remaining on the beach. Before they decided this fully and it became set in stone he wanted to ensure that the pack next door was a friendly one or at least one that could live side by side without killing each other...

so once more he would leave his beach and make his way over to other lands, he would polity stand a few paces away from borderlands to ensure he was in no way touching or crossing their points before he would raise his head and howl for the Alpha of the land, sitting himself on his hunches he would then wait in silence for the stranger(s) to appear. As he waited he thought through on how best to be diplomatic.

There was something like peace that had settled over his pack as they welcomed in the new summer season. It might have been warm, incredibly so on the Prairie, but the fact it was his, the fact it was theirs, made it more tolerable. And at least there was the heavily vegetated Gulley to make up for the openness of the plain that received the brunt of the summer sun. The Gulley had all the shade and cool spots, even water for them to cool off in when needed, and even when it became stuffy it was still bearable. And more importantly they were starting to act and feel more like a cohesive group. Spring had brought about renewal; summer he hoped would offer growth.

Only it seemed the growth was happening in a way different than he anticipated. Naturally he was cautious when he heard the howl at the top of the Fern Gulley, requesting his presence. Rune stared over his shoulder up the rise through a furrowed brow and a look that was somewhat skeptical. They had gone quite some time without any visitors - or at least unwanted ones since Amarant and Colten had been more than free to return at will - and he knew this voice belonged to no one he knew. Was it someone seeking to join? Or just a curious passerby?

He heaved a sigh and began the hurried trek up to the edge of the pack's territory, the seemingly impassable vegetation opening up for him as he knew the terrain too well to be tripped up or tricked by it. Rune did not consider how long he was taking but still kept a direct course until the ground leveled and the greens opened up, leaving him staring at a giant among wolves. The man was incredibly tall, burly to match, and possessed a coat that was surprisingly blue. And - points for him - he was clearly on his side of the boundary. As was his custom when dealing with strangers on his border, Rune stood straight and authoritative, head and tail up and his bearing clearly that of an alpha. "Why have you called me?" he asked, not bothering with any pleasantries or introductions. It was obvious who Rune was; he was more concerned about this stranger standing on the edge of his home.

Glacier didn't mind the wait after his call, he was seated on his hunches comfortably, and well his eyes drifted this way and that, his body was still, something that his energetic sisters could never accomplish, but came easily to the the momentous beast. When he heard the sound of paw-steps through the foliage, his eyes snapped back to attention and he would watch as the Alpha made his presence known and stopped a few paces from the Titan. It was obvious of his rank, for his dominant bearing and the matching scent of him to the packs borderlines.

The man would offer him no pleasantries, but speak his question bluntly, this was enough to show Glacier he should no linger in the mans presence, and he was quick to get to business, he would lower his head lightly in greeting and respect and speak. “My name is Glacier, and my apologies for disturbing you, but my family has moved in to the Obsidian beach next door to you, and well we are a large family we are peaceful and intend to cause no strife between ourselves and those that live near us. However, I wanted to inform you because once we are established properly we intend to become a pack, through one with the intention of causing little presence in the land of Alacritis – I want only to make a home for my family, and believed I should inform you of our plans” he would nod his head again and rise slowly, doing so in a way to show he meant the man before him no harm. “If you see no problems with this I will make my leave now and wish you a good day” he finished.

There was no delay in the male's response - a fact Rune was glad to note - and there were no unnecessary pleasantries added to drag things out. The blue wolf kept things simple, either through his own preference or because he had already picked up on the Guardian's, and went straight into explaining himself as Secretua's newest neighbor. Rune watched the wolf through his critical, narrowed stare, trying to get a gauge on the character of his neighbor as he explained his situation. He and his family were going to share borders with the current pack of this southern area, and his hope was that they could live peacefully together. In theory, it sounded like a long shot, especially considering Secretua's penchant for being isolated and self-contained.

But there might have been something there. They intended to form a pack, to make their residency there in the south more permanent, and it immediately brought to mind Rune's own plans. For a while now he had been trying to get his pack stable enough for him to leave it for periods at a time on diplomatic missions to visit his neighbors, to understand what they were like even if he did not offer any sort of alliance or friendship between their packs. He merely wanted to understand what else was out there in order to keep his family safer. And now one of those potential neighbors had wandered right up to his doorstep in order to do the same.

He was not one for visitors of any kind - except for his nephews, but they were still honorary pack members in his eyes - but for once he was not irked but intrigued. Just another family group who wanted to keep to themselves? That sounded livable. "I have no problems with this," he informed Glacier simply, nodding his head once with finality, "so long as you bring no harm to my family and pack." There might have been a subtle threat within his words, but it could hardly be helped. He was protective of those he considered his. "If and when you do become a pack, I would like to pay you a visit to speak further," he said, more as a request than a statement. If this wolf intended to lead, then it was probably the proper thing that he did not demand things of him. And because he had failed to provide it thus far, he added, "I am Rune Kaname, Guardian of Secretua."
