A loud but gentle sigh floated from Nagendra’s open mouth as his gaze soaked in the most beautiful pink he’d ever seen. Much like he had stumbled upon the grove of trees, all the same in their bent forms and draping, vine-y branches, he had now come across a forest of pink, flowery trees. He took a slow step forward, passing himself into the shadow of the grove while his eyes swept from one blooming figure to the next. His mouth remained unhinged in a faint, awestruck smile. His spine tingled with joy – his body and mind immersed in a full feeling of delight. Everywhere he went, there was some beautiful wonder of Mother nature to behold! And being so driven by new experiences and beautiful sights, every journey was ecstasy for Nagendra Bahri.

The grass below his feet was green and lush – the brilliant trees having shared the sunlight with the other flora as well. He sighed again, feeling okay to make noise in his assumed isolation, and wiggled his toes a little. Then his grin flashed a bit wider – innocent and pure – and he sank down to the ground. There, he rolled over on his back and gazed up at the underside of the tree he lay beneath. He writhed a bit to feel the grass against his back, then stretched his legs, growing more comfortable by the second. ”Oh, if everyone could see… the things I have seen,” he said softly to himself. He wasn’t sure if his family was as interested in new and foreign things as he was, but they would at least be shocked by some of it. Pink trees and red wolves! He laughed aloud, shutting his eyes for a moment. When he opened them again, he couldn’t help but stare contentedly once more at the little puffy flowers that sprouted from the trees branches. It was nice, here in the shade, with the scent of the sweetest flowers floating through the air. Perhaps he ought to hang around here awhile – spend the night.

...and the world would give her the chance to wander again, though she planned to only be gone for about a day. Less, hopefully. She would breathe in, her ears twitching some as she let out an aggravated sigh. She wanted to maul something. To tear into it’s flesh and hear it beg her for mercy. In truth she was the one hurting, her heart aching in a manner that was driving her mad. That was why she left the territory claimed by Lydovne, to get out of her mind, out of her sanctuary. There was nothing in either that could truly help her at this point anyway. No... The ones who could were nowhere to be found.

“Mara... Fenris...!” The beast would whine, shaking in her coat. She wasn’t cold, no not cold at all. But it hurt. She would move through the land of recovering life, paying no heed to what was torn up. What she wrecked underpaw. Sbe wanted this feeling to stop. It was eating at her mind, her heart, her very soul! The female would keep going until she practically ran over a man laying in the grass. She had barely brushed against him, and when she did Rainbow would recoil with a loud hissing-like sound.

“Demon!” Her pink-red gaze would focus and she would exhale. “No... Stranger... Hi...” Her words were a bit of a jumbled mess, and her state looked rather ruffled. She would stare at him then, unsure how he would respond to her existence there.

The young man stared a while longer, letting the pleasant color sink into his eyes, into his brain. Everything was good. Perhaps he was a particularly optimistic creature, but he thought he had every reason for it. Slowly, another soft sigh was pressed from his lungs, and his eyelids would slip shut in peaceful bliss. He was still very much awake and to some degree aware, but merely sealing off a sense for the moment so that the others might be bolstered in its absence. There was beauty in sound and smell too, he thought.

He remained comfortable and serene for another moment, oblivious to the approach of another. It was only when their footsteps fell but a foot or so away that Nagendra’s eyes snapped open, and he turned his head slightly just in time to spy a paw headed his way. There was not enough time for a full reaction, but instead a blur of uncoordinated motion that somewhat pulled him away in a recoiling fashion mirroring the other’s backward direction. ”Oh!” he cried with surprise, his heart fluttering in a panic. The stranger also cried out with shock, albeit a somewhat more… hostile sounding shock. She would seem to regain herself though, then speaking three words which offered insight to an odd train of thought. Nagendra was now laying on his stomach, forepaws outstretched and neck twisted to point his muzzle at the stranger. His forehead was crinkled a tad with puzzlement, but he remained quiet and receptive.

”Hello,” he replied gently. He blinked, eyes wide as he stared at the wolf before him. Such bold colors! So unnatural! He had seen many oddly colored wolves around here, but he thought that this must’ve been the pinnacle of it all. ”Is everyone so fabulously colored here?” he asked then, unabashed. Normally he would have refrained, but this was it. His curiosity got the better of him, and he just had to ask.

The male would cry out with his own surprise, though it was more some sort of retaliation, or sign of aggression, that the female actually worried about. She would breathe in and out as she looked at him, still resting upon the ground, though on his stomach now. He would adjust his head so that he could look at her, forehead crinkled with a sign that might have been confused. Was he analyzing her coat? The thought made the fur on her body prickle. She had not chosen this coat! She had not chosen to be stained in these colors, and oh how it frustrated her being looked at like some freak by wolves who considered themselves "normal". But what was normalicy anyway? Was there really any difference between and them?!

Her mind was already racing, her stance ready to be defensive of who she was. The female would relax though when he spoke. Fabulously colored, huh? So this was not one of those wolves who judged her for the traits she could not control. She would let a small smile cross her muzzle, letting out a laugh. "No, though there are some beautiful gems lurking within these lands." The female would let herself slip more into ease, breathing out. Perhaps they had gotten off on the wrong foot, considering she almost ran him over.

"Sorry about that by the way. Guess I was... caught up in my mind." For a moment she would stare at the male and smile. "You have such rich browns in your coat. You remind me of my daughter in that aspect." Her words were softer. "Her eyes are green too. Tell me, you don't happen to originally lurk from a land called Lyenne, do you?" Could it be he was some distant relative? Not likely. But her mind was such a warped thing... wanting so desperately to find some sort of love. From family... children... Perhaps she would need to go find Fenris after this meeting. He'd make her feel better again, just like last time.

She seemed guarded for a moment, tense and ready to burst. But when his own civil tone was revealed, the larger wolf relaxed. She laughed, and dismissed his hypothesis. So far, everyone he had met had been so beautiful, so brilliantly different and special. It made him feel a bit naked, but he had overcome the feeling of self-doubt and reaffirmed his traveler’s mindset; he was a visitor in this strange place, and all of its beauty – its wolves included – was something for him to experience and enjoy. ”And you must be the queen of them all, then,” he said smoothly, a faint smirk dancing across his face as he unabashedly took the opportunity presented.

She would then apologize, explaining to an extent. ”Ah, that’s alright,” he said, tipping his head slightly to the side. He’d then pull himself up to his feet, shaking himself free of any bits of dirt and leaf he’d picked up from the ground. Turning his smiling face back to the other wolf, Nagendra would cock his ears forward as she noted aloud the similarities between him and her daughter. The man’s smile became tinted with a faint, sympathetic melancholy. ”No, I’m afraid not. Never heard of it,” he said, sorry that his resemblance led nowhere.

The queen? Oh wouldn’t that be a laugh! The female had never before thought of herself as anything more than a plain jane, a nobody. But, perhaps, there was something to think about in his words. What if she did try to rule something? Bring the teachings of Lyenne to this silly little land called Alacritis. Yes, there was a thought indeed. But who would join her? Who would dare stand with such a crazed beast, as they all said? Yes, crazy. A monster. A demon straight from hell? Who else but others cast down from the gates of the heavens and forced to walk among the sinners who claimed to be saints?

The female would give a soft sigh as he answered, a bit disappointed. "It's alright. I was just clinging to a bit of a false hope anyway." The femme would shake her head. "Many wolves in Lyenne were more naturally colored you see. Brown with green eyes being most common. I guess I just hope for some news of her someday." The beast would tilt her head to the side.

"They call me Rainbow Syndrome. What, pray tell, might I be able to call you hun?"

Didn’t realize you’d replied whoops Also though dat rainbow text so beaut C8

She shook her head resignedly, explaining again with a somewhat saddening choice of words. ”Oh,” Nagendra said, sounding again sorry. Lost children and parted families were certainly a sad thing; he could only be glad that his parting with his family was willing. It was also at that moment that he would note that this female must’ve been around his age. Were wolves his age already having families? Hm. He was inwardly amused, only for the fact that he seemed to be getting left behind in section of the game of life that he didn’t exactly feel like participating in.

The female would then introduce herself with a name that he would cock his head to, arching a brow and looking thoroughly puzzled. ”Rainbow… Syndrome,” he repeated, half questioning. It sounded like a disease, and perhaps a tad literal. He blinked then, too polite to ask about anything. He smiled again, the gesture soft on his lean face. ”My name is Nagendra Bahri. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Have you been here long?” He was always interested to find other newcomers.

Ooc:: It's okie! Sometimes I ninja replies in because of how long it takes me. xD;; Oopsies~ And yes I love her rainbow text too. ;3 Only works with certain tables well though.

The young man would introduce himself as Nagenda Bahri. It was a unique name, as was hers in a sense. He seemed to question it, but not directly, so Rainbow would let it slide for now, rather than answering him directly. Instead the dark female would answer his second, more direct question, and she would close her eyes, considering the answer.

"I suppose I've been here long enough." Though that wasn't very exact. "I don't know... roughly a season? It's been a little while... but I still find myself getting lost and such." The female would say gently. "Judging by your questions I would assume that you've not been here that long yourself." Rainbow would muse.

"Did you come this way searching for anything in particular?"
