Echo from the start
Novella wasn't entirely certain how long she had actually slept for, when her eyes had finally closed she had been too tired to pay any attention to the time and of course whatever focus remained had been taken by her new children than caring what the sun was doing. She felt rather more rested now though and the morning light was streaming lazily through the entrance of the den as she opened her eyes to discover Frith had already risen and wandered off somewhere. A soft cry would draw her attention to the tiny forms of Fate and Luck, the helpless, little pups now fidgeting as they sought to creep closer to her side. With a soft smile she would nuzzle them both gently, a quiet good morning greeting falling upon their deaf ears. |

With a proud grin on his features the author would slip back into their family den, once more filled with the bodies of their tiny children. First bicolored eyes would fall on his better half, her tired form still more beautiful than any she wolf in the whole of Alacritis. He still thanked his lucky stars that she was his. As he slipped in next to her once more he'd reverse himself. His shoulders would snuggle closely to her hips and his neck reach over her to nuzzle their tiny puppies.

Wherever her husband had gone it wouldn't be long before he returned, slipping easily beside her once more and quietly settling himself back down, reaching around to nuzzle the tiny pups in his own silent good morning to them. Selfishly she was quite content to hide out here for a while longer, enjoying these peaceful moments. Fate and Luck would grow quickly after all and such a quiet morning would soon be unheard of. The news of their birth would of course need to be announced soon to the pack, though their elder siblings would once again deserve to meet them first. Right on cue two of them would appear now. Novella would smile in greeting as Varda crept inside and swiftly turned her attention to her new little brother and sister. Had Frith gone to tell them at some point whilst she rested and Varda been unable to wait to meet them? It didn't matter though, and Aslan too soon appeared, marvelling at how small they were. "You were once this small." She informed them both glancing now to the elder two children. "Well you were Varda, Aslan you were a little bigger." She hadn't realised then just how much that small difference in size would continue though the boy was a lot bigger than his siblings now. These two she suspected would be more similar to Varda and Herne in size. "Meet Fate and Luck, your new little brother and sister." She informed the pair, resting her nose gently over each one as she spoke their names. |

There was nothing but positive energy radiating from the den as the older siblings met younger, and Frith found himself smiling easily as Novella answered their son. They had been tiny, but he hadn't been quite that tiny. Novella had been much larger with their first, almost completely thanks to Aslan. His wife would take to introducing them to their tiny siblings, and the proud father would only watch as he nuzzled Novella's back lovingly.

"I'm afraid they aren't too exciting just yet" Novella informed them though they could surely see that for themselves. "Just you wait though, it won't be long before they'll be up and about." On one paw she didn't want to rush to that stage but on the other it would be fun to watch them grow, to see how they would react to these big brothers and sister they were lucky to have.
