What Wonders
Walk | Talk | Think Feeling more or less comfortable on their new beach side retreat, Gale was finally ready to start doing a little bit of exploring. The Obsidian Beach itself was a curious place of dark sands and numerous caverns, but with the family centralized there she was sure every bit of it was going to get explored quickly. With her elder brothers making every effort they possibly could to help them all transition well, she knew it was all going to end up being shown to them in time, bit by bit. After all, her brothers were worry warts and overly cautious. They were not going to let the younger ones around anything they had not first examined themselves. So she ventured away from that safe haven, traveling down the shoreline in search of someplace else that might catch her eye. All the while the winds accompanied her, a rather incessant roar in her ears that was not at all overbearing or unwanted. Instead, the lavender and grey wolf enjoyed their voices, smiled as she moved and they ruffled up her coat of wispy fur. They lessened the severity of the heat, made the constant, direct light of the sun more bearable, and allowed her to do other things besides lazing about trying to stay cool. Like investigate huge, yawning caves that just happened to be located very close to home base. The girl's pale, grey-green eyes spotted the cavern's opening easily enough against the shoreline backdrop, a glint of curiosity entering them as her lavender tinted paws sped up and brought her more quickly closer. A half smile pulled up one edge of her lips as she padded around the side of the thing and slowed to creep around the front of it, straining to peer inside. At still early in the day, it seemed rather dark within, but a little wandering, a little adventure all by her lonesome, had never truly stopped her before. Far too interested to think about waiting, about showing the caution that Glacier might have wielded so naturally, Gale ventured slowly forward, scenting and spying on anything within that she could as she moved into the cavern. |
The fog that toyed in the dark corners of her mind settled as abruptly paced about the cavern's temples, her clashing demons sending her through loopholes as she tried ot piece together what they were saying. It was hard, considering they spoke in riddles, although she managed to grasp one part.. Castro. Her brother? She couldn't over look one small fact, that they were speaking of him like he was a threat - yet her brother was nothing but a low-life coward whom wants revenge because of Fayelon's satanic killing of their father. The old bastard deserved it, the night of his death she remembered the kingdom throwing a party for he no longer held power of them with that 12 inch crown weighing down on his mortality. Their father was a bust, nothing more than the old tall tale of the boy who cried wolf -- all he is now is a bag of bones.
While her mind began to play tricks on her she listened carefully to the soundless remedies of the cave coming to life, the rumbling of paws on the earths furnace came to her attention. She silenced her demons, evaporating their indecisive meeting within her brain. With her black pelt she did well in the shadows, but still, her eyes probably will give away her position if you looked close enough. Two gems of amethyst burning colors blinked as the image of a female species embarked through the cavern's portal. Slowly Faye would begin to back away deeper into the darker parts of the corners, watching carefully as the woman continued her passage through the cave. This pale girl smelled quite like someone she had just recently met, which brought one final question into the mix.. Was she kin to Terrae?

Walk | Talk | Think Oblivious to the woman who crept through the shadows, Gale showed only a clam hesitancy in her movements as she went further into the cavern. Her pale eyes never rested on one thing for long, continually looking about as she took everything in: the dips, the curves, the intricate details of the place. Had any of her siblings been here already? If they had, she suspected she would have heard about it. They were typically a close bunch, though she could sense a stronger bond between their newest four that did not extend all the way to the elder siblings. Maybe she would not have heard about it after all. The ocean smell was strong even here, evidence that the tides occasionally drifted even high enough to flood this place, but with it far enough out now the grey and lavender wolf did not quite think anything of it. It took the mingling of another scent, one distinctly wolf that was nearly masked by the thick scent of the sea, to give her even a moment of pause. Her lavender paws slowed and then stopped, and suddenly Gale's pale eyes more pointedly looked around her. This scent, though well masked, was not stale enough. Someone was here. "Hello?" Gale called out in a tone that was overall friendly, her question dragged along in a sort of sing song manner. Curiosity continued to beckon her forward, but unknowing of who she shared the cavern with moving forward did not feel like the safest option. At least not until she knew she would not be attacked for it. "Am I intruding?" |
Time seemed to be of the essence at this point and yet the obsidian beast was pondering whether or not to step out of the shadows or continue playing hide and seek with the femme. She felt like a complete child, creeping among the sickening darkness and torturing her prey with her demise. Fayelon knew that the other woman had a sense that she was present and since her cover was primary already blown out of the water -- the she-devil rose from the ashes and crept silently out of the black hole that she called her haven. At first glance you'd think she was crazy, her grim look was nary a mistake and she did little to disguise it's eerie appeal but what else could she put on other than an attire that was suitable for most schizophrenic demons.
Fayelon did a quick look over of the white and lavender tainted girl. Noting the rough edges that shaped out the resemblance of Terrae, a masculine she met at least two moons ago. It was unlikely that she'd run across any of his siblings, but with her luck she knew she'd end up bumping into one of them; just not the sister.. Thankfully Faye was a wise wordsmith and had the utmost gentle tone or the other goddess wouldn't like her fiery temper too much.. Uncurling her lips and holding her head high with pride and envy the ebony succubus pried open her jaws to let bullets fly off the tip of her tongue. Intruding, no. Trespassing, no. Alone.. Yes. You see I assure you I am no threat. And by the looks of your posture and petite appearance, neither are you. Although I should input that you reek of someone I have just recently met, come to think of it you may be his sister. Before I go any further, is it possible for you to exchange your name with me?
