He'd been rather surprised as Hecate had seemingly out of nowhere gotten spooked and ran from their first meeting. The woman had been on his mind since, though he tried to refrain from seeking he rout actively. He had no intention of pushing his luck with her and hoped that she might come around soon and seek him out. He had no doubt she was under heavy stress from some terrible memory within her mind but he had no clue what might be plaguing her. Frith could only show her that the world was not all evil, and that here she could recover and thrive with time.

There was not a doubt in his mind that this was a possibility, and as long as she held those same sentiments failure would not be an outcome. Potentially a considerable amount of time would pass before she fully blossomed again, but the man was patient. He had every intention of being there for her so that would be able to happen. She deserved to live a happy healthy life and he believed that fully.

His slim form would slip through the forests that surrounded the bay, his dark pelt melting in with the shadows of the canopy. The day was rather warm but not unbearable in the shade, though he had no intention of actually doing much physical activity until the cool of the night would overcome the heat of the day. There was a gentle smile playing at his features as he walked slowly over the leaf litter, his mind wandering as he walked.

The sudden run from Frith had gone unnoticed in the young woman's mind as the nightmares slowly started to return. Every nigh she woke up sweating, panting and trying to remember why she was still alive as she fought the innermost demon that she had ever seen. She stayed back in her little tree hole most of the time, leaving solely to eat or use the bathroom with the exception of the Threar meeting. She wasn't entirely sure how she was going to recover from what had happened to her but she knew that she had to try. Her eyes showed her nerves as she wore her heart out on her sleeve. Annora, my sweetest child, I am so sorry. Her mind was filled with guilt. She could have done more and she should have done more. Now, her child was gone and it was all her fault.

She had tried to start anew and perhaps that was why she had agreed to Novella's offer in the first place. Perhaps she had thought that she could avoid these inner demons by running away. Perhaps that was why she stuttered, because she had nothing left to stay strong for. She was not entirely sure what was going on with herself. She knew that she always blamed her family for the stutter and the shyness but truth was, her daughter's death and her love's death was what had pushed her into being such a timid creature. Sometimes she caught herself telling herself that they both would have wanted her to remain strong but she always lacked the confidence. That had to change.

During this analysis of herself she had unintentionally stood up and started to move around. She had left her little safe haven and started wandering as she debated these topics with herself. Her smooth tawny pelt was covered with leaves and dirt which made her appear disheveled in her own manner. Her eyes clearly pictured the war within her inner mind and she did not notice Frith walking around until she nearly bumped into him. When this happened, her eyes widened and she backed up a substantial amount. "I am so sorry." The words were clear and unstuttered out of her maw as she looked at the Author.

He didn't have to go very far when he heard the sound of foot steps, his bicolored gaze would be drawn to Hecate's side as she paced blindly. He could see plainly the turmoil in her gaze, and he wonderd if she sought him out. He would stand still, his smile soft as she drew more near, he'd almost stepped back to prevent her from running right into him when she suddenly realized his form. Tilting his head curiously and watching as she slunk away with an apology on her lips. "Dear Hecate, I've told you there's no need to be sorry." His head was lowered, much like in their first meeting and he would wag his tail slowly while a good natured smile played at his lips. "It's nice to see you out and about." He'd offer, trying mostly to change the subject maybe help ease her mind as he sat back on his haunches.
