Frost entered the clearing, not too long ago she was here with a psycho wolf who wanted to enslave her. There was also that young small wolf who had allowed her to escape, someday she would have to thank that girl if she ever ran into her. Today her purpose here was to see if she could find something to hunt in this ever growing colder weather. Most of the animals would have started to find shelter by this time, but she found some rabbit footprints in the light dusting of snow that covered the earth. She would trace the tracks all the way to a hole in the ground, sigh the rabbit had gone into hiding she would have to wait it out until the rabbit came out of it’s den. She sat down at the entrance to the hole to wait.

The mahogany brute walked throughout the landscape. He was not sure where he was, and whomever he would come across. The smell of prey enticed him to continue onward through the lands, his nostrils flared slightly. He could smell another scent, one whom he had never known about or seen before. He trotted upward toward an incline to see another wolf, a woman. He cocked his head slightly and began to approach, though moving slowly as to not scare her. Though, the language that she probably spoke, he would know very little of.

Frost would raise her head from looking down at the rabbit hole to look at an approaching wolf, he had strange markings and a strange fur color as well as bi-colored eyes. This place seemed to apparently be where all the strange wolves came, Frost hoped that this one wasn’t as crazy as the last one she met here. She stood up slowly, not averting her wary gaze from the other wolf. She kept the rabbit den in her peripheral vision so if the rabbit did decide to show itself she would know. More cautious now than she had been with the purple wolf she wouldn’t give her name right away in her reply instead she would ask a question ”Who are you?” in a firm voice to show some dominance. She was not about to be walked over by another wolf.

The brute understood a little of what the woman had said. But, all he could understand was 'how'. He tilted his head slightly and spoke in his native tongue, "marúawe", he spoke, his voice deep even though he was three years old, and yet his voice was calm and soothing. He did not know if the woman understood so he stuttered, trying to speak English, "h...he...hel...hello.." he spoke, trying to speak her language a bit better than before.

Frost watched as confusion entered the other wolf’s face, did he not understand her? When the wolf spoke she was not surprised, it was a different language then the purple wolf had spoken but a different language nonetheless. Then as the wolf struggled to form the word hello she decided that he obviously didn’t know English as well as the crazy wolf had. Hello wasn’t exactly an answer to her question but she was willing to over look it due to the language barrier. She wondered how she would be able to get the message across to this wolf, she chose a different word to say and would convey the air of a question. “Name?” She tilted her head, hopefully the wolf would understand this

The brute did understand the question that the woman had given him to answer. His bi-colored eyes shimmered in the sunlight and he spoke in a calm and gentle voice like before, "Otaktay," he replied, and a small smile would spread across his face. "ʉnha hakai nahniaka?" He asked, he was not sure if she would understand, so he would say the word she asked him, "N-name?" He would soon turn his head to see a rabbit poke out of its hole. He would approach slowly and lunged forward, snapping down onto the rabbit and shook the life from it. He soon dropped the creature and his eyes met his own, closing his eyes as if in prayer for the dying hare and after a couple seconds after Otaktay opened his eyes, the rabbit closed its own and soon stopped breathing. The brute grabbed the rabbit and drug it over to the woman, dropping it at her feet as he sat back on his haunches. "Eat," he would say.

The other wolf spoke his name or at least what seemed like a name, Otaktay. He smiled at her and spoke a phrase in his strange language, he then translated with the word name. He was asking her for her own name, she still wasn’t sure she should give it to him quite yet but he didn’t seem as insane as the last wolf, only confused. Just then the rabbit came out of its hole and the wolf killed it, that was supposed to be her job she very well couldn’t bring back a kill that hadn’t been hers. Then Otak dropped the rabbit in front of her telling her to eat it, she looked down at it and shook her head “No.” she looked behind herself and said “Pack.” She wasn’t sure what would happen when she brought it back, hopefully they wouldn’t notice a different scent. For now she just shoved the body behind her own.

The brute nodded and stood up, looking at the sky as his fur swayed in the wind. His bi-colored eyes shifted over to meet the woman's as he gave a concerned look upon his face, "Face?" He asked, using his right paw and pointing to the scars that were upon her face. "You ok?" He stood back up and listened to what she had to say. He had met many wolves that were back in his old pack that had many scars around their bodies, but, English was not a name that he knew all the time, he was taught a little bit of it, but, he didn't know too much of it.

The other wolf stood up and gave her a concerned look, what was that for there was nothing to be concerned about. He spoke the word face and indicated at her scars, ‘Oh, those.’ she thought. She didn’t like to dwell on why those scars were there, it was a season ago that she had just turned two and a couple of moons before that was when she had gotten those scars from Velex. The scars had since faded but were still there as a reminder, you can’t trust everyone. Otaktay asked her if she was okay, she nodded “Yes”
