OOC: Old Sec members, maybe?

With a heavy heart Warja drug all of her stores out into the open. She was leaving the Gulley. Already she had a destination in mind; it was the journey there that was up in the air. Her father was out there somewhere. Maybe he was hurt or being held captive, or any number of things, but he was out there. She could feel it. Her dad hadn't just left. He wouldn't do that; she just knew it.

But that didn't mean she could stay. Secretua was gone and she no longer had a connection to the lands that had been under its rule. She had a new place in mind though. Warja had been very impressed with the lady she'd met in the desert. Katja Finnvi, alpha of a pack named Yfir. Any place ruled by that fae had to be worth checking out. It sounded like a place where she would be challenged, a place where she would constantly be honing her craft and bettering herself. It sounded right. But before should could go there, she needed to sift through her belongings and decide what could be left and what could be taken. There was plenty of things that she'd miss but have no trouble replacing, and those were the first things she set aside. Then it got hard. The young healer had built up quite a collection of hard to find plants. Those she would miss.

Kismet knew nothing about this Katja that Warja had mentioned though if his friend thought the woman a respectable leader then he was sure he too would be able to find a home in the pack. He of course was going to go with Warja, it wasn't so much the pack itself that had brought him to Secretua after all but Warja and now that it was gone and she was leaving these lands, he would follow her.

He was upset by Rune's disappearance, did think it out of character but with his own family and past track records such vanishing acts couldn't really surprise him as much as they should have done. He wouldn't voice these thoughts to Warja though, if she wanted to search for her father he would help as much as he could. Whilst so much else changed in his life, she was still the one thing he felt he could rely on.

"Need a hand?" He enquired, reaching her den for perhaps the very last time, at least here anyway. He of course wouldn't know what should be brought and what could be left but he'd carry whatever he was told to which would allow her to bring a little more of her collection of plants as well.

It had broken her heart when her daughter had spoken but she respected the young woman’s choice, she wasn’t about to let her go off without saying anything though. Warja was an adult all her own and Alamea was so proud of her! With Keiki watching the pups the woman had set out to find her daughter. Winter had snuck up on them and both of them would need to leave soon, Alamea already knew they would be on their way soon. She approached the pair, tail wavering high over her rump.

"Need two?" She spoke softly, very shortly on the tail of Kismet’s own question. More than anything she was glad that he was going with her, she knew her daughter could take care of herself but it put her mind at ease to know he would be watching her back.

With it all laid out before her, Warja began to feel a little overwhelmed. She had so much stuff. Secretua had felt so permanent, so rock solid, that she'd never imagined it would be gone one day. At least not in her lifetime. Kismet's big, gentle voice broke through her anxiety and the little fae turned to smile softly at her friend. This was so hard. Before she could reply, her mother was there and offering to help too. "I'm going to need all the help I can get. When did I get so much stuff?" Seriously. It was like it had been breeding in the back.

A sudden, nauseating wave of emotion swept over her and Warja fell upon her stash and started to set aside various bundles. "Mom, this is oak bark, it's good for swelling and pain. Just soak it in water and then soak a skin," She added the small skin of a prey animal to the pile, "In the water and stick it where it hurts. Um..." What else? She wanted them to be prepared. Warja grabbed a carefully wrapped wad of cobweb. "You can put cobwebs on open wounds to slow bleeding. Same with Lamb's Ear." The fae tossed some into the pile for good measure.

Okay, this wasn't going to work. She had too much stuff she wanted to give them and not enough ways to carry it all. Even if each of her siblings carried something there would still be leftovers, and that was assuming she could get them all to carry something. After a moment's thought, Warja dove back into her den and emerged with the skin of a coyote. She dropped it unceremoniously and began to transfer the pile from its place on the ground to the center of the skin. Grabbing a small bundle, she said, "This is yarrow, plantain and elderflower. It's also good for wounds. Everything you need to use it is in the bundle." Her ears flicked back. This was making her a bit nervous. She wished they'd just come with her, even if only for awhile.
