Frost would walk into the white clearing, she could hear the snow crunch beneath the pressure of her paws. She would look off into the distance at the sky beyond the edge of the cliff, she was bored there hadn't been much to do pack wise of late. The only thing that had happened this season so far was Abaven throwing a party that she hadn't attended. Being here was a bit farther from pack lands than she would have liked, but the cliff interested her. She would carefully walk closer to the edge of the cliff, when she stopped her front paws were only a couple inches from the edge. She sat down and watched her puffs of breath come out as foggy clouds, she may not have been a pup anymore but the world still intrigued her.

Snow made her way towards the cliff, her namesake crunching under her paws and leaving her paw prints; if she had been paying attention, she would have seen another set. But at the moment, something was bothering the female. Where was Gelus? And was Lune okay? Hopefully nothing had happened to the wolf and her patience with Snow. As she made her way up the mountain, Snow spotted the other wolf, staring into the distance. Her light gray and white head tilted, her blue eyes glimmering with curiosity as she got closer to the female. As she got close enough, Snow could see the scars, and winced a tiny bit. What had happened to this poor wolf? When she looked at the ground, at the snow under her paws, the younger wolf backed away as she noticed her paws were only a few inches away from the edge, like the other wolf's paws. Her breath came in a gust of frosty air, frosty air almost burning her lungs as she breathed in. Finally, she spoke, her voice a little louder than usual. "Nice day today, huh?"

Frost’s ears would perk as she heard the footsteps of somebody else, her head would turn to look at the wolf that was approaching. They were shorter than herself and with gray and white fur, the wolf looked young with that sense of innocence in her eyes. She tilted her head at the wolf, did she know them she certainly couldn’t remember them. It was just something about the way that they looked that interested her, she saw their lips move but didn’t hear them she was so engrossed in her thoughts. “Who are you?” she would ask, she couldn’t just go without asking if she didn’t it would bug her for the rest of the season.

Snow almost knew the wolf when they spoke; the voice seemed familiar, but the way the wolf looked didn't really look like anyone she could remember. When the other asked her who she was, Snow hesitated. After a few minutes, she gave a soft sigh and spoke. "Snow. Snow Ignea." Maybe, if this wolf truly did know her, Snow's last name would have some effect on her. Or maybe the wolf didn't know her and just thought she did. The same could go the same way for Snow as well. After all, just because a wolf looked like one didn't mean anything. After all, Snow didn't think that the wolf she knew had scars on her face. She supposed that she might as well ask for the other wolf's name, as she may go through the meeting not even knowing it. "Who might you be?"

The other wolf would speak her name, Frost’s pupils would dilate in fear. Her last name was Ignea too, she looked up and down the wolf. An image flashed through her mind with the feeling of heat and searing pain, the image was a memory from her childhood. It was the fire that killed her entire pack she had only survived by coincidence. Snow, Snow was her sister the last she had seen her she was only a little pup. She would slowly stand up while staring at her, her sister was dead her entire pack was dead. “F…Frost I..gnea” She would manage to stutter out “you’re dead, you’re all dead.” She would carefully back away shaking her head. This had to be a trick, there was no way anybody could have survived that fire.

Frost Ignea. Snow shook her head, but nothing would help her. The wolf in front of her had to be a ghost of some sort. Snow felt like she was frozen in place, her fur beginning to bristle with fear. It all came back at her. The blazing fire, the heat, the fear as she scrambled out of the camp. Her parents' gazes, wide with fear as they told her to run. When Frost spoke again, saying that Snow was dead, the light gray and white female backed away. "You're a spirit. You have to be. Gelus was the only one besides...." Her voice trailed off, her blue eyes wide with fear. After the fear had mainly gone away, Snow noticed the scent of a pack on Frost's fur.

Her sister was no ghost. Frost had made it out of the fire, too.

Snow's blue eyes started to well with tears, and she moved closer to Frost, wagging her tail. "Frost. I didn't think......" She didn't think that she would see her family again. She hadn't thought her family was still alive, or not all of her family. "I can't believe it."

The other wolf seemed to have had the same initial reaction as her, fear. She called Frost a spirit, she was certainly no ghost it was her sister that was the ghost. And who was this Gelus that she spoke about, she didn’t remember any Gelus from her old pack. They started to come closer to her with tears in their eyes, they had to be her sister anybody else wouldn’t be able to cry over someone they never even knew. Her pupils would return to normal, she would attempt to close the distance that was left between them. To her crying was a weakness, it was the weakest point that anyone could be found in. But regardless of what life had taught her she would look down at her sister and smile. Her eyes watered, she had family, even if it was only one wolf she didn’t care it was family nonetheless. “Neither can I” she would speak softly. She would nuzzle her sister between the ears, this was way better than what any pack had given her.
