The girl stretched lazily as she rolled onto her stomach. Her mother had been out, and Azula growing quite bored. She didn't know where her mother had gone, but she figured she'd be back soon. And although Azula was told not to go far from the den when Titania wasn't around, well...did the girl ever listen? She was growing older, and she was now two seasons old. Well, almost. She was a big girl now!
With a huff and a sneeze, Azula lifted herself off the ground and shook off her coat. There was no way she was going outside looking like a commoner! She always had to look good for the press! With a smile, she sauntered outside the den, tail and head held high and a mighty bounce in her step like a spoiled yorkie dog. She was going to find some fun, even if it was the last thing she did dammit! With the sun glinting off her necklace that so fashionably matched with her mothers, she was off in pursuit of excitement!
It had been a while- more than a while- since Esti had graced these lands. The trees greeted her in their hushed ways, the particular noise sounding as familiar as a friend's voice. Esti smiled slightly, she had been the princess of this place, and those memories sat comfortably in her head. Surely she had been lonely at times. Most of her followers had been made up, but, oh yes, there had been the few real ones. She was undoubtedly a real princess, at least to those. They had all disbanded at some point, and Esti could never figure that point out. Titania had her boyfriend, and Dusk had his own mysterious problems. Esti was just... well, she was just a pup, and there was nothing to keep her there while the others wandered. She supposed they all had just gone somewhere else, had families and did things, just as she had. Esti briefly thought of Ash, who was probably bugging his father to death by now with all his energy. The giantess let out a breathy laugh and pressed her way into the familiar lands.
Once she was in the midst of the willows, felt right at home. Everything seemed just like she remembered it that night when she was attacked by the strange wolf who gave her the plague. It seemed like the Esti then was much different than the Esti now. She was settled in the real world now, not a queen, and not really a princess, though she did bear the pup of a king of sorts- a fact her past self would probably die knowing. Everything was exactly the same, except for one thing... Were there always dwarfs in these woods? Sure enough, a tiny little wolf was walking- prancing?- about. The thing had it's lips pulled oddly and walked oddly and Esti wondered if it might have been sick. Further more, why was it so close to her old den site? That was probably a coincidence, but the woman decided to make herself known anyway. Propping against one of the willows, the giant woman let out a giant yawn."Speech"
The girl stopped where she was, eyes narrowing as she heard a rather rude sound behind her. Turning around, she saw a rather large black and white figure near w willow tree. With a raised brow, she inspected the stranger. What was she doing here? That was her tree. Everything in this forest was hers, or so she liked to think. Sauntering up to the woman in a cool fashion. Azula stood a few feet in front of her with a look of hidden curiosity. How dare she sit by her tree and act so rudely! In her territory at that!
Puffing up, she stood as tall though compared to the other woman, she was still dwarfed by a landslide. " 'Scuse me, who are you and what are you doing next to my tree?" She cocked a brow, the pup clearly had no manners. But she was raised to believe she was a princess, and a princess she would be."Speech"
Esti had, probably because of Ashmedai, grown mostly used to pups and their antics. Though this girl was much, much smaller than her son, Esti couldn't help but think they might be around the same age. With a small, amused smile tugging at the left side of Esti's lips, she continued to stare out into the distance, ignoring the pup completely. Even as the small thing approached the giantess, Esti continued to stare out. The shrill voice met her ears, but only one ear flicked back in response, eyes unmoving. For effect, she even offered another yawn, trying to let a long distance of time pass before she moved on.
Picking up her paws, Esti aimed to mock-trip over the girl, acting surprised, "Man, what do they feed the squirrels around here to make them look like that? I'll have to punish the guards for letting it in for sure." As Esti turned away, she couldn't help the small smile that broke out onto her face. If this pup was anything like Esti was when she was younger, she would be reeling, maybe she would even call for her parents and Esti could see exactly who or what lived here in her beloved willows now. Taking a few more steps, Esti waited for the pups reaction.
