Astrea yawned her pale eyes glancing around the area. A lot of wolves seemed to have met her elder brother. When did he go around and introducing himself? That was really neighborly of him. But then again, being a pack other wolves where now going to seek them out now.

She yawned again, hardly able to keep her eyes open, it was late... or early depending on who you where. For her? She only had about an hour of rest so the crash was close upon her but first, there was a she-wolf who the star child wanted to see. It seems that Astrea and Glacier where not the only ones making moves on a prospective mate, Volt seemed to have found someone for himself. She smiled, happy for him, volt deserved happiness but first she would meet this girl; just like her elder brother meet Astrea's boy.

With a quick shake of the head, the star dusted girl got to her paws. She dodged bodies and she slowly moved to where the gray girl stood with her bird companion. Astrea eyed the bird, thinking that maybe she should get a friend like that, someone to keep her company when Ten was not with her. She hummed, liking that idea but knowing that would have to wait for later.

She moved quickly, still dodging the other guests and stopped close the slightly smaller female. She hummed as she sat close to the female but still enough away to not be in her personal space. Lifting her paw to the opal on her chest she tilted her head giving another yawn. "So you and my brother huh?" She hummed a bit louder, a small happy sound, if anyone deserved love it was Voltage. "I am Astrea, by the way." She blinked and looked at the female. Something was a bit off about the woman, and as Astrea looking into her eyes she knew. The gray girl was blind. She hummed again.

Many things could be learned without the ability to see, things you could not notes with the ability, but even with that thought Astrea was a bit sad for her. The star child looked up at the sky then, knowing that she would not be able to see the things she loved most but not being able to see then at all? That would make her sad. But then again this girl had never had the pleasure of seeing the small balls of fire in the sky, and Astrea knew that ignorance was sometimes a blessing.

The star dusted girl shook her head, knowing the other woman would not see her expansion and was thankful for it in more ways then one. So instead of dwelling on the sad truth of blindness Astrea instead asked, "How are you enjoying the party?"

Gaia wouldn't hang onto Voltage's shoulder like she thought she might, he had many wolves to see and she knew that she couldn't be with him the entire party. There were more wolves she ought to meet as well. She was mostly standing alone though, with Freewing cheerily on her shoulder she just let herself grow better accustom to the scents of Volt's family. Knowing, and hoping, they all introduced themselves. Voltage brought a happiness into her life that she hadn't felt in far too long. It was easy for her to know why it was she cared about him, and knowing others who felt the same way would do her good.

She wouldn't be left on her own for very long. Freewing would chirp a greeting and Gaia would look up to the approaching wolf. She picked out the sound of her foot steps and then the gentle sound of her voice. Gaia's ears would fall from their perked position as the woman brought about a first question. She and Voltage hadn't really spoken about what their relationship might be, but she knew that she cared about him and that she enjoyed his presence a lot. Avoiding the question she focused on the girl's name, Volt had already told her of his star spangled sister. "Hello, I'm Gaia." The answer was simple and soft, and she'd try to relax but she couldn't help but imagine the she wolf looking her over. "It's nice, I really like the feeling of the beach." The sand in her toes and the salt on the wind were refreshing and so different from what she was used to.

Astrea hummed at Gaia's obvious dodge of her question. It was obvious to Astrea by the way Volt acted that the thing between her energy brother and this gray woman was more than met the eye. Astrea hummed at the woman, tilting her head slightly. It was almost like how Ten acted sometimes with her, always dodging the crux of the matter, yes she and Ten where 'courting' but in Astrea's mind they where already mated; little did Ten know. And frankly she knew that was the same situation Volt was in, he was head over paws for this little lady but she was hesitant to take that last step. Should Astrea stick her nose into the woman's affairs or let Voltage deal with his own problems... Well maybe she should meddle, what was the littlest sister to do when something like this present itself?

Astrea chuckled at the thought. "Anything my brother told you about me is untrue." She hummed again then, "well maybe some of it is true." The star child moved forward then, sitting next to Gaia. With a paw lifted to her necklace, she turned to the sea. "My water sister will love to hear you say that you like the beach." She smiled as she looked over the water. "Even I find it calming sometimes but it is not the water that calls to me, but the stars." She glanced sidelong at the gray woman. "What calls to you Gaia? The wind, the waves? The clam before a storm?" She hummed again closing her eyes turning her face up to the sky.

"And what about you little feathered friend, what calls to you when you sleep at night?" She nodded then, never looking away from the duo in front of her. She rather liked the her, not that she expected otherwise, anyone her brothers chose had to blend with the family. Not that Astrea knew that, for all she knew any one of her siblings could bring home a slug and call it mate, what did she know? "If you do not mind me asking, how did you meet my brother?"

Astrea seemed quite as daydreamy as herself, she'd humm gently at Gaia's answers and she wasn't sure how she should take those answers. Gaia couldn't deny the beauty in the woman's tones though and she'd try to relax while being interviewed by Volt's sister. Though Astrea wasn't really the sister she worried about, Serephina would be the one to impress. While she wanted to be called Voltage's she still hadn't quite severed those ties with Solo. She had been mated him, they'd been together for so long that the hole he'd left was still massive. She wanted to give herself to Voltage, but she couldn't as long as she was still broken goods.

Though Volt would remain their topic of conversation the other she wolf would shift them slightly. She'd first deny anything he'd said about her and then agree with a little of it. Thus far it seemed Volt had been spot on with telling her about his lovely sister. Gaia would settle as Astrea sat beside her, she needed to be comfortable around these wolves. "So far it seems he's got you figured out pretty well," She'd smile softly as Astrea went on to talk about the beach and the wind and the stars. Along with the questions of her own passion. What did she live for? "It's changed a lot over my life, I'm not even so sure myself anymore." She'd fall quiet as the woman posed the same question to Freewing. As usual the bird would refrain from speech and instead he'd puff up his brilliant red chest and sing a sweet little song. That would cause Gaia to smile, but her inability to answer Astrea's question concerned her. "Voltage and I met by chance. I... had been going through a loss and had left my pack to mourn. He found me there and held me and made me smile. It was really hard to go our separate ways after that." They hadn't either, he'd brought her back here that night and they'd shared a den and decided they didn't want to be with out the other.

Astrea never looked away from Gaia, tilting her head at the woman. She smiled at her remark about her brother knowing her. "Yes, well, Volt and I have spent many nights just looking at the stars together. But just for curiosity sake what has my brother said about me?" Not that she really cared, Astrea knew her brother loved her, he loved all his siblings, but it was nice to know what your elder sibling told others about you.

But as the conversation turned to Gaia's thoughts and dreams things got scattered. She seemed lost to how she felt, her passion seemed to be gone like a wind behind a wall. The star child blinked, her head tilting the other way. "It is okay to not know what you want in life. Especially after a major event like loss of loved ones or a change of heart. Even I, who knew what my life love was had a hard time finding my place in this world." She smiled remembering that dark time, she had been so unsure about her place in life, about her skills, even now she fought with the fear of not being good enough or useful to her family. She hummed and lifted her paw to the opal around her neck, but Ten gave her courage, like nothing else has; and Voltage? Voltage was the one who pushed her in the right direction. "Things will change, you will meet someone or another loved one will comfort you and things will become more clear. Time is your friend in that aspect in life." She hummed again, to think the first person that she tried her guiding on was not a sibling.

And as the conversation moved on to her brother meeting her she hummed deeper. "Ah, a chance meeting, a lot of those going around. I meet my future mate like that as well. I had heard of a place called Moon Touched Peaks and thought that was a great place to look at the stars. I was right, but there was more than just stars. I met Seerten, he is a very large male with odd fur, but he is kind and soft. I think about him every day, more so when I am not with him. I also did not want to leave him, I wanted the night to last forever." Her eyes grew dreamy and she sighed happily. "I found that I loved him, even after only just meeting him..." Astrea looked pointedly at the woman, a knowing edge filling her voice, "You know what I mean, do you not?"

Though Gaia couldn't see the star coated woman she could feel her gaze resting upon her silvery form. It was more comforting than some other eyes she'd felt on her before, it helped her to feel like home. "He's told me a bit about all of you, how much he loves all of you and how wonderful you are." He never uttered a bad word about any of them. They wouldn't linger on what Voltage had said for long, she'd go on to tell Astrea about her path and the Elementas girl wouldn't hesitate in comforting her with her own view on the world. Gaia would nod slowly, her features contemplative. More and more Voltage was becoming the North to her compass. It scared her deep down, especially after losing Solo so swiftly.

Time would heal all wounds, she only had to be patient. In the meantime she would spend her days with Freewing and Voltage, she couldn't think of any better way to do just that. Gaia would continue to listen as Astrea told her of Seerten and their chance meeting. Gaia could relate well, though she's been more focused on the loss of her brother at the time what Astrea said was true. She never wanted to leave Volt's side. "I do," Gaia would answer as the other girl asked her knowing question. "It just seemed like my family disappeared." Some of them had died, while other walked off completely. She had left Yfir, unable to linger under Katja's rule, she would never have fit in with her brother Kassander. "Voltage showed me a new path, and gave me hope." ANd that was the truth. She would have been very much lost with out him.
