It seemed he had finally made it here, ears pinned against his head as his mismatched eyes scanned the land. He needed to find his mother, and confront her about leaving them. His black and white tail raised behind him, he walked through the land, even though it was hitting him with great force. He had lived through more than this. He could live through a bit of wind. Then another wolf.

Or rather, it's scent. But the male's attention was turned towards where it was. He would know that scent anywhere. Shiranui, his father, was leaping towards him.

Yes, Shiranui hadn't been out and about much. To be honest, he had lost his beloved. Again. But he assumed that it was his own fault. Buffered by the wind, he made his way along the land until a familiar scent caught his attention. But the last time he had been with that wolf was when he separated to look for his sister, and Shiranui's daughter. He was alive! After all this time! Wagging his tail, Shiranui bounded towards the male's scent, not slowing even when he was close enough to Shizuo.

How his son had grown! The black and white male was the same height as him, and seemed even stronger. Marina would be proud if she could see him. But there was one thing unnerving about his son. His mismatched eyes were cold, and he didn't show any signs of being happy to see Shiranui. Not a smile, no tail wag. It was as if Shizuo held no emotion at all.

"Shizuo! I'm so happy to see you! Marina would be so proud!"
