Dancing With The Stars

Lanky legs dragged the saddened creature towards a path unknown. The usually optimistic male felt heavy, like a weight had dropped on his shoulders. He felt lonely, no real company save for those of the passing native wolves that inhabited the majority of the continent, and he felt that maybe that's why his family hadn't been seen yet. Maybe they decided they didn't like it here, where canines inhabited more of the land then they did back home. He rather liked it, however. He had come across a few friendly faces, and they had shown him no ill will so far, so what was there to fear? He seemed to have reached the edge of the cliff, the moonlight shining upon his pale coat made him appear like a ghost walking among the field. Stopping where he was, the feline stood and stared up at the stars. Some of the constellations here seemed different then he was used to, and he wasn't sure exactly which was which here. The night seemed peaceful, the winds cooler then normal for spring time, but he rather enjoyed the weather here so far.
