With the acceptance into Fiori, Ellisa felt suddenly overwhelmed by pack life. Before then it was just her little fmily ssticking together before she wasplucked up and taken away, only her and her mother. But now she would have to get used to being around strangers and working together with them, sharing and all that. It wasn't a bad thought at first, but the longer she sticked around the more anxiety she was getting. So the girl thought it was best to get away fo a day or two, travelling down to the bordering end of the packlands that opened to a shoreline. She looked out across the water, heading tilting as she spotted a land mass out there.

Secretly the boy was worried. It had been months, seasons, since he had last seen his brother. Maybe Colten moved because he took too long to get back. What if someone drove them of of the woods while he wasn't there. And even more secretly, he thought they were dead. He decided to start looking around the surrounding lands, eventually moving west where packs were barren. But for now he would stay in the east. He went to the coast line where he knew he wouldn't enter the pack here. Little did he know this was the home to his half-siblings resided in. His cousins and Aunt also lived here (Eirik may have told him). But he stuck to the shore and watched as the waves threatened to pull at is paws. He then came across a girl's scent. For once he actually stopped to look at this new scent. He normally ignored it if it wasn't his brother's but he thought since he was exploring he would pay attention to this stuff more often. He saw her standing, looking out at the large island that was easily visible from here. And with ease he approached her with a warming and friendly voice. "What are you looking at?" He too had a desire to go onto the island. Not because his brother could be there, but because he loved to explore new lands. Walk "Talk" Think

A voice startled the girl, Ellisa flinching to the side, head swiinging towards where it came from. For a brief moment she almost went into flight mode, legs bent at the joints, ready to dart off. Quickly she realized that the fright was not intentional, a gentle voice asking what she was looking at, belonging to a boy that looked no older than her but was still on the bigger side. "Th-the island." She answered, her own voice softer than she would have liked. Swallowing she would stand back up and roll her shoulders embarrassed, looking back towards the island for a moment then back to the boy. "Are you from Fiori?" She questioned, voice sweet and curious. Since her arrival she didn't really meet anyone else but the Sovereign, and form here she couldn't really catch his scent with the wind blowing away form her and towards him.

The boy would only tilt his head at her terrified reaction. He wouldn't apologize but obviously wasn't threatening. She calmed herself, stuttering at her first words but then easing more as she realized he meant no harm. Well, duh. He could see she was looking at the island. He wanted to know why. Of course that wasn't his question to begin with. But she would ask is he was from Fiofi. And he was quick to answer. "Oh, no. I live in the Weeping Woods." He would wait a second before continuing, "I'm actually looking for my brother." Like she cared but Amarant was easy to show his emotions. He didn't have a problem sharing anything with anyone. Honesty was a valuable trait to him. Walk "Talk" Think

He wasn't from the pack and lived in the weeping woods, that place that was across the water from Fiori's lands. So he was a loner like she was before? Inner Ellisa wanted that to be a good enough excuse to dive further into the pack lands, knowing that some loners could be quite dangerous, but she would push it aside and remain here. He didn't seem too bad just yet. He mentioned a brother though. "Does he look like you? I haven't seen anyone with markings like those before." She asked curiously, her head tilting as she inspected the spots that were also on his legs. Out of the very few wolves she has seen, none had strange spots like his. They were sort of interesting in a way. "You have nice spots." She said without thinking, quickly closing her mouth nd looking down at her paws.

Amarant was a whole different universe away from bad. Sure everyone should be leery around strangers, the boy didn't think that way though. He assumed everyone was filled with roses and sunshine. He did have his outbursts but they were normally held in with so much emotion until he just popped. She would ask him if his brother looked like him. He looked at her a few seconds with narrowed eyes before responding, "He's darker than you, but with black spots." Colten was a much darker, burnt color than the girl in front of him. But spots weren't that hard to miss. There wasn't many of his kind. She would proceed to complement his spots, "Nice spots." The boy could see her embarrassment but wasn't entirely sure shy she felt that way. He would tilt his head back at her and go for a joking tone just as he always did with Eirik, "You have nice... paws." He smiled at her as if to say she shouldn't be embarrassed. His mind set was young, you couldn't go by acting all serious and grown up around him. Walk "Talk" Think

Darker than herself, black spots. Again the girl would go through her memories and wonder if she had come across someone like that, but even with the second go she wasn't aable to recall such a wolf with that appearance. So she shook her head, answering an unspoken question, whether he was looking for one or not. Maybe he was the last of his family? Spots weren't common around where she has been to.

When it cameto ehr compliment, the girl looked up to meet green eyes when he did the same thing but for her paws. It made her head tilt, looking back down to them and even lifting one up to inspect it like something was special or nice about them. Ellisa was not used to talking to boys, so it was a little strange and sure to bring more embarrassment from her the longer they were around each other. "Thank you." She responded quietly, putting her paw down and turning back towards the island, trying to calm herself down.

"W-would you like to come with me?" She asked, looking back to the boy. "See what is on the island, maybe your brother could be there." She added, wondering if it would pull him to join. Sure she would have liked to be alone, but sincne he seemed okay then she saw no problem in it.

A low chuckle escaped him as she offered her thanks. And as she looked back at the island, he would too listening to her invite him to go with her. He stared at the island for a while, trying to think about how much time it would take to swim over there. The island was visible so it couldn't take too long. But it was still a cold and hard work out to swim across the ocean part. Without responding, he would start to trot his way over to the water, letting it chill his front paws before looking back at the girl with tongue hanging out the side of his mouth and eyes full of excitement. Without another thought he would start leaping into the water, better than slowly tiptoeing your way in. He wouldn't stop as he lost the bottom and began to start swimming. It wouldn't be too long before he could reach the rising bottom of the island. And he would take this moment to turn around and see if the girl was close behind him, if at all. Walk "Talk" Think

She watched him, in a totally not creepy sort of way, as he gazed back towards the island she wanted to explore. He didn't really say anything so her mind immediately started thinking that perhaps he didn't want to go with her and would just turn and leave. Slowly ears lay back against the girl's skull, even though she wasn't used to being around boys and she didn't know him, it was a nice idea that somebody could discover something with her while her siblings were busy.

Proving her mind wrong, the boy starting making his way into the water, looking back to her then leaping in. Ellisa tilted her head curiously then flinched back as the cold water splashed her face, quickly shaking it off and looking to see he was already swimming for the island. "W-wait for me!" She barked, taking a hesitant step into the water that immediately sent a shudder through her body. But hey, if he could dive in then she can to.

Quickly she padded in, fighting hard against her body to jump back into the sand and pushed herself forward. Within moments she was no longer touching the bottom, body floating in the water with her legs kicking smoothly to keep her up and moving forward. Since it wasn't too far the torture was over in just under a few minutes, her jaws clenched as the cold water splashed across her neck and splattered over her face. Then finally she could feel the sand beneath her paws again, quickly hopping back onto the shore where she started to shake herself off. "So cold!"

Just when she looked to the boy that was when she realized that she didn't even get his name, so with a flick of her tail the girl turned towards him and cleared her throat. "I'm sorry, I didn't tell you my name." She started in a sweet voice, lifting her head. "I'm Ellisa." Wit that out of the way they could see what the island had to offer them, and also check for the boy's brother.

Seeing that she had made it fine, he would follow her up all the way to the shore and shake as well, the water from her pelt grabbing onto him. He let out a gentle laugh as she stated how cold it was and would respond with a quiet "Yeah..." But before they could explore the island she would tell him her name. He hadn't even thought about it, sometimes a name wasn't necessary. It was also easy to forget such things, at least for Amarant. "Amarant." He replied, "It's nice to meet you Ellisa." And without another thought he would look at her with a friendly grin and begin to move his way forward. He wasn't here to look for his brother, he was here to explore. If Colten happened to pop up that would be a dream come true. But so far he hadn't caught the man's scent. He knew he wasn't on this island. Walk "Talk" Think

His name was Amarant, an interesting name to match equally interesting spots. “Same here.” She responded, watching him walk off briefly before quickly catching up and tailing him on his left side. Amber eyes scanned over the sand around them, narrowing as she spotted something out in the water off to their side. It looked liked a grey stone poking out the water's surface, causing the girl to pause mid-step, head tilting, trying to think about what it could be. Just as she looked to the boy to call him and look to, the thing disappeared. Ellisa frowned a bit but she would turn away and quickly come up beside the boy, shaking her head.

”Do you think there are any prey here, besides birds of course?” She would ask curiously, lifting her skull to watch as they flew around each other and squacked. It wasn't till hunger just hit her now that the girl thought about the idea of other animals possibly being here. The island didn't look big, and there was little forestry to hide larger animals, leaving a lot of sand and short vegetation. Would there be any sort of rabbit, mice, or even squirrels for them to catch?

Amarant looked ahead, trying to sense if anyone else was on this island. And as the girl approached him and spoke, he too would look up at the birds and then around at the shore and the forestry. Kylar had taught him plenty, but he had also taught himself a good amount after he separated himself from Arcanum. Looking down at his paws, he would dig his claws into the sand and think a second. "Well, there could be crabs or clams on the shore... I guess it depends on what place we are in." He would look back up into the forests ahead, trying to think what would seclude itself on an island. "And I guess small animals. Squirrels and hare." He didn't think deer and stuff would be out here, but he could be wrong. "Why, are you hungry?" He looked at her with that friendly grin once again. Walk "Talk" Think

Head tilted and a look of confusion appeared on the girl's face at the mention of crabs and clams, things apparently found on the shore. Ellisa had never heard of such things before, and so she wasn't aware of what they looked like or could even be found. Maybe the boy would explain, or be kind enough to try and find a spot to show her these things, even how to hunt them. Oh jeez, what if she would have to hunt in front of him?! She immediately regretted even asking about the prey possibilities.

Squirrels and hare she knew about, small animals that were very fast. She had seen them a lot but never actually attempted going after them, whether to practice poorly at hunting or just to play with when she was younger. There was no way she could even try for one of them, that would be a huge embarrassment! Amarant asked if she was hungry though, and Ellisa could help but fold her ears back and nod. ”Y-yeah... It has been a little while since I ate something.” She admitted with a nervous smile, clearing her throat and coming up to his side. ”Maybe we could find one of those... crabs or clams you mentioned?” She would suggest with a wag of her tail.
