The Last Days

Nalyda was happy to be around a caring mate as much as Kar. Her crimson eyes would show kindness and happiness as she met his gaze, shaking her cranium slowly. "No, I am only happy to be with you...Once the pups are born...I would like to talk to our children..." She explained and asked, a look of pain in her eyes. She knew she was on her last days, and she was praying that Kar would be the same as he always was when they first met. She was so worried for all her family, but, she knew they would all be strong just as she knew they would. "I love you, Kar...When it is time for me to go...please stay strong and happy for our children..." her voice was quiet as she spoke to him.
