Keep Pushing

The two yearlings had been staying at the lake for only half a season before they had to find a new place to stay. Zisa was already planning to leave the place once summer came, continue the search for her family but it appeared a pack was giving a push. They had moved into the area and marked their borders, forcing her and Mingan to start their journey. Quickly they were nearly surrounded by packs, given the only choice of moving north east where the land lay unclaimed. It wasn't easy, the companions had to pass through desert, and while doing so they had become separated.

By time Zisa was in the clear she found herself in a sea of green, hungry and dehydrated. She would with head hung low and ears pulled back, breathing labored as she slowly moved through the grasses, ignoring the plentiful prey. The main goal was to find water.
