Looking Out, Looking In

She was oh so tired of the sand and the sun. The dry heat of the desert did little to ease the fever she had gotten from the temperature change. Moving from cold to hot was annoying, but now that she'd gotten better she itched to get out and explore, with our without her siblings. Then again, she'd been cooped up with them a little too long,and her mother never spent any time with her. How rude of her!
Brushing it off, small girl wanted to find something to do...but what? She didn't realize she'd gotten to the edge of the border, the small girl stopping feet from going out. Extreme curiosity took hold of her then...but daddy said not to go beyond the borders without him, or another adult. So she decided to sit there, toeing the line and wondered what other things lived beyond her home. Other,more interesting kids to play with maybe? Because her siblings were just weird!
