Raba listened with interest about Lillie's friend who liked to collect things. Well there was certainly a wealth of things here in this unusual terra. The girls parted ways as the sun began to set and Karabela felt a pang in her stomach as she turned to watch the other girl go, knowing that Lillie was likely headed home and she was heading… nowhere. Nowhere. The last vibrant red hues of the sun were swallowed by the inky black and she gazed at the horizon, wishing silently that her mother would give her guidance.

Her ears only met with silence.
