"Thanks... Sorry... Sometimes i cant seem to tell whats real and whats not..." Cifer wasn't one to pry into another's business, but if it meant that the pack would be safe against a potential threat, then he certainly would. He let it be for the time being, not quite sure as to what he should do. All logical thoughts slipped past him. He wasn't quite sure as to what he should do in a situation such as this. He wasn't much of a talker, and he didn't appreciate fights unless it was absolutely necessary. So how could he test the male in front of him? He didn't want him to be a danger to others. Cifer's defensive position changed to a more relaxed one as he took a seat in the snow once more. Black tipped tail flicked behind him against the ground as he waited. His tail was the only expression to show of his anxiousness at the whole situation. He'd dealt with crazy wolves such as Banshee, he'd dealt with over hyper wolves like Asheni, he'd dealt with wolves like Crusade and Gargoyle, or Cairo even when he'd come to the borders of their old home spitting out accusations, but he' never quite run into a wolf such as this. "If your in need of a hunter or a warrior i might be of some use. I am pretty fast." Cifer's ebony coated ears flicked forward in interest. There was something he could work with! Emerald eyes watched him with piqued curiosity as he waited for the male to finish speaking. He went on to apologize about his previous actions. Cifer merely nodded and dismissed it to move on to a more pressing topic. So long as it didn't happen frequently he supposed it was okay. There were far more odd weirdos in the world than just this one. His questions were odd though. He had to answer those. "I have not, and no, we haven't dealt with any fires since the eruption in our old home." He watched him with a vacant expression on his face once more. The stoic mannerisms in which he kept in place were back up once more. He was already forming an idea in his head how he could test the male, but he couldn't do it now. He'd have to do it when the male had a good meal in his stomach and a nice long rest. Then he could prove his willingness to be a part of their family and prove his worth. "If you are interested in staying in our home then I offer you a few days to rest and fill your stomach. You say your fast, so in a few days time I shall test you. I myself pride myself in endurance and strength, in which I use to boost my speed. Perhaps we'll go on a hunt and you can prove yourself. We all sleep in one gigantic den. I hope it suits you. We're a family. We work like one, eat like one, and even sleep like one. Fair enough?" Speech, |
