Haunting memories
A lone impish figure strolls slowly through the thick mist, her volcanic gaze peering toward the horizon as her eyes search for a missing phantom. Haunting thoughts of her past engulf her mind, her nose desperately inhaling surrounding scents as she hopes to catch a whiff of the woman who used to live here. Artemis... Despite everything the two had been through, she couldn't shake their memories from her mind. Even though deep down she knew searching for Artemis was a waste of time, she couldn't help herself. A part of her still believed she would find the ghost lingering here, as if she had never left the dreadful soulless forest. Heading towards what used to be their den, her pace quickens, and the viper that clings to her throat gently tightens his grasp. A warning growl rumbles within her throat to remind the viper not to squeeze too hard. |
