It's Impolite to Stare

Xephyris had noticed her gesture, inviting him aside after the meeting - his silver eyes couldn't be stopped from shifting in her direction a little too often. Glancing around quickly, the young man slunk away from the gathering, hoping not to be noticed. He had been late, and he was sure their leader would seek him out for punishment. Now he was slinking after Sin's daughter. Was he crazy? He grinned to himself as he watched her hips swaying ahead of him, then picked up his pace to come to her side.
He followed her to the stream, joining her as she seated herself by the water. He placed himself a few feet away from her, staring into the water's surface. "Congratulations on your new position, Paradox" he said, glancing upon her reflection in the slowly moving water, "Heir to Hellstrom... you're a very important wolf now. You won't have time to mingle with the commoners after this." He chuckled slightly, shrugging his shoulders. Still not looking at her directly, he spoke again. "I'm Xephyris," he mentioned - he knew she had seen him around since Sonticus, but they had never spoken directly to one another, "Pleasure to finally meet you."
