Double Shot of Crown {SIEGE}

Evangeline's blood ran hot, sending tingles through her limbs. The excitement was thrilling, intoxicating, and addicting. She didn't want this adrenaline rush to end, but she knew that it inevitably would end, though of course Imperium's victory would surely be worthy consolation. It was all she could do not to fidget as she stopped within the bulk of the pack, but she managed to keep her lady-like demeanor intake, mostly. It was frustrating not to be right out in front as they had crossed over the border, but she could see over all of the Abaven wolves' heads anyway. She stuck her tongue out at Lillie's back directly in front of her, though Vana had deliberately lagged back around ten feet so she wasn't walking on Lilliana's heels. Of course she'd be in the front ranks sticking her nose into it like it was her siege.
Vana obsessively went over her defenses while she waited, everything that her daddy and her mother had taught her since she was little. Her head and tail, always held at a dominant angle, she forced to drop to be level with her spine for balance. Her shoulders she rolled forward to bunch up her scruff, her chin tilting to cover her throat. She widened her stance, and then adjusted her weight to be centered on all four feet. Her joints bent to lower her center of gravity slightly, her toes spreading and her claws digging in for the traction she would, hopefully, shortly need. Her eyes narrowed as she stared into the distance, her ears pressing flat against her skull to protect them.
The enemy suddenly appeared, first one white male that sneered at Bass (Vana could not blame him, but it still got her blood to surge in fury that he would have insulted Imperium by connection), then more as chaos suddenly burst into action in the form of the slave Hati as he threw himself forward and opened the floodgates for more fights. Despite her excitement Vana found herself suddenly indecisive, like a kid in a toy store who didn't know where to start first. So many wonderful possibilities!
But then her eyes narrowed in fury as she was faced with the sight of a huge, orange-throated monster bearing down on Lilliana with obvious ill intentions. Oh no she di'n't. Lilliana was an idiot who couldn't even fight but she was EVANGELINE'S idiot. Vana had claimed her first and no one else could beat her up, nobody!
Sidestepping to her own left to take her out of direct alignment with Lillie's hindquarters, she sought to charge forward in a series of bounds toward Amachi's right hip. Her right shoulder jutting forward with the sharp point aimed at Amachi's tender abdomen right in front of her hip, Vana attempted to smash her whole weight against it midway between back and stomach in the hopes of bursting internal organs with the force. As a healer she knew it was possible - it was one of those injuries that they needed to watch out for in hunters who got kicked or trampled. Redistributing her weight off her left forepaw, she attempted to wrap it around Amachi's left hindleg - the one furthest from Vana - just above the paw in an attempt to jerk it out from under her. Tilting her muzzle slightly to her left and lifting her head, she attempted to bury her fangs into the barely-taller Amachi's back right in front of her hips, her upper fangs aimed to grasp the left side of the bitch while her lower canines aimed for the right side in a bid to crush the spinal column and cripple the enemy. She'd cripple her one way or another - Bitch would pay for presuming to put paws to Vana's property.
