kiss from a rose

She was unsure of what was going on with Ludicael, the Sol was gone a lot of the time and the wolves who had showed the first day she called are all over the place. She would go to the pack's land, check for the others but would only find one or two out of the handful that actually made up the pack. They were so few in numbers and no wolf has come to the borders seeking a pack to join, the only females there were her, the Sol and a pup. Aria had not found a suitable mate, well, she thought she found somebody but they suddenly took off on her and left her hanging. It made her so angry, he had asked her not to lave him and there he went, not even bothering to say goodbye. Aria found herself roaming the lands again, what else was there for her to do? She would go hunt and bring something back for the pack but if she did it would have been a waste because barely anyone was there when ever she went back. She couldn't eat the animal either, it would be way too much and she was unsure of whether or not somebody would come along and eat the animal or if it would lay there and go to waste. Lost in her thoughts she had failed to notice the light rain that had begun to fall, collecting on her coat. She didn't run for shelter, no, it wasn't that bad and besides, she loved the rain. It felt so good on her body, relaxing, refreshing. The only thing about this rain, it wasn't the usual cool rain she liked, it was warm, kind of sticky in a way that was uncomfortable. So after an hour of walking in it she finally decided she should find a place to settle down until it passed, again, she had nothing else better to do. Paws carried her on, smooth movements, emerald green eyes scanning the land around her, ears swiveling to catch anything that might give away another creatures presence. Quickly after a matter of minutes the rain began to get heavy, going from light drips to a roar as it started to turn into a downpour. Great, just what I need. She growled to herself, a heavy sigh escaping her jaws as she tried looking around for a place to take shelter but all she saw was a dark shape not far from her. Now being the way she was, Aria didn't care that this figure, that ended up being a wolf, was a stranger. She would go up to anyone and strike up a conversation. Hey you! She barked, closing the distance between them in a jog, slowing down a few feet from him. You know a place we can stop to get out of this rain? She asked, her voice louder than usual because of the rain. "normal. talk. think. you." |
