Laufey was a father. Even now, weeks since his son had entered the world, it still felt surreal. How could he be a parent? Whose crazy idea had that been? What idiot god had looked down at him and went "that moron...he should have a kid" and dropped one on him? Or, maybe, one of Katja and Kaprasius' gods, looking at the tiny pool of Finnvis, had decided he'd make due with what he had and somehow Laufey had gotten picked to procreate. In any case, Laufey was a father.
He rather liked it.
Stretched out in the shade provided by one of the trees that stood on the fringe of the forest, Laufey stared out into the rogue territory. There wasn't anything plaguing his thoughts, he was just feeling a little contemplative, a little bored. It'd been quite some time since he got into a fight, hadn't it? Maybe it was time to change that.
