This place was strange, though the plains seemed to be the closest to home he'd seen thus far. He wasn't entirely unsure of the place, apparently there was a lot of family here, not that he could meet them at the moment considering all of the wolves seemed to have gone off to the siege. He... kind of got what it was, and had been just as disappointed as Rhys when denied the option to join. Mom had told them to behave and stay out of trouble while she and father were away, and he would have been content to sit and mope until they returned. Rhys on the other hand, had much better ideas than him. She was eager to call himself and their brother to his side. Curiously Rhyme would lift himself from the earth and trot after his sister, he'd take his usual place at her side. He'd been getting much better at keeping pace with her instead of behind her. He was still cautious and thought through his decisions more thoroughly than his littermate. Split second decisions still got him, he'd be more opt to take flight than fight when faced with real danger. Rhyme was trying to be brave, but deep down he knew he still wasn't as courageous as Rhys. |
