While the cat's away

Chaos had been lolling around inconsolably grumpy after his parents and Rhys'n'Rhyme's mama had left them in this new place. A scowl was fixed on his toothy maw, his dark brow furrowed. It wasn't fair, and all they had was Pimmy and a girl named Sirius to keep them company from Imperium. It wasn't fair, why couldn't they go sieging like the grownups? Instead they were stuck in this crummy place with Rhys'n'Rhyme's crummy cousins (though he still didn't understand how they could have cousins that weren't his cousins, not that he wanted them to be his cousins, but it was the principle of the thing) while everyone else went off and had fun. Rhys' soft woof, though, had him rolling over to sit up attentively before racing to his larger siblings' side. Eagerly he looked up at Rhys, who seemed like a pup with a plan. "We gon' foller dem, Rheeth?" he burst out before shushing himself and glancing around suspiciously, as though Sirius or Pim would jump out of the bushes and stop them at the sound of his voice.
