Becky G - Shower (Piano Cover)
BIC:: His heart would grow all the warmer once she appeared before him. As she pressed herself into his chest, he would rest his maw on her neck, embracing her. Oh god, how he'd missed her so. Yes, he'd be staying close to her side now. It was all okay again. As he pressed himself against her, he would take in a long breath of her scent before finally letting out the words. "I know. I'm sorry." It wasn't like he'd forgotten about her over the last few days. It's just that he was so happy about what he finally had. No one could deny how long the brute had waited to be an Adravendi. A member of the family that Erani had pulled him into. So he'd wanted to reveal in it for a little while. Surely that was fair, right? Because he had made his way back to her as he'd planed to. He'd never intended to leave Avalon alone. She was what was important to him. But you don't take a wolf who's been a stray for all his life, give him a dream and a vision, and then give him three years to think about it, and not expect him to take a moment and dance with joy once he finally captures it in his paws.
All the same, he felt bad for his absence. He had to make it up to her some how. And he was sure that the way would materialize it's self. For now, he was just happy to be at her side again. He'd been through enough hell in his lifetime. Taking a step back, he would eye her figure up, and a huge smile would break out on his face as she was starting to show. "Goodness, Avalon. You're gorgeous like this!" and with that a chuckle would escape his maw as he leaned forward to lick her once on the nose. Time really did give all things to those who wait. And he'd waited a damn long time. That wish, to leave the world a brighter place than he'd found it, well, it would seem he was finally on the right path. Not wanted to waste any more time than he already had, he quickly pieced together his apology to her, sure he might surprise her with how much his speech had returned. Surreal had gotten him on the right track, forcing him to speak in the way of starting him in lessons in the Old Tongue. He was sure Avalon could bring him the rest of the way, especially with these pups on the way.
"I promise you, I'm not going anywhere now. I'm here, for you. I didn't mean to be gone, it's just, I haven't had roots this deep before in my life, and it takes some adjusting. I waited so long for all of this. Avalon, I finally have a sister! And Nephews and nieces. I'm an Uncle!" He would look into her eyes for just a moment before stepping forward again, pulling her back into an embrace. The next bit was terribly hard for him to say, and it took him a moment to piece the words together. "I had to get it all out of my system. Now, my place is here. Here with you. As it should have been all those years ago. We waited for this. We both did. I love you." It was like a weight fell from his chest. He'd finally managed to say it. He'd finally managed to say those words and not choke on them or have them catch in his throat. He'd had to make do for so long expressing such a notion with his body and his soul, because his voice was always hindered with distrust, bad emotions, and a fekked up past. But he could say them to her. Maybe even her exclusively. He wouldn't allow that to be lost. Not now. Not after finally coming this far.
