Explorers away!

If someone was to get a top down view of Piper, all they would see was the thick grasses barely parting around her. Piper didn't care how thick the grass was. As soon as she found out that the Rustling Thicket was part of her Daddy's pack she knew she had to come explore it! She slipped away from her parents and siblings quietly so they wouldn't keep her from going and headed out to find out what this new place was all about! So far all she had found was a bunch of grass. Grass, grass, and more grass. She heard some birds somewhere in here, but she hadn't found any of them yet. She snaked back and forth around the thicket and so far she wasn't too terribly impressed, but she wouldn't give up yet! Her ears perked when some chirping and squawking sounded like it was getting closer and she made her way toward the noise. She squished her body to the ground and crept forward till she grass parted in front of her and revealed a nest with a pair of birds and some tiny wiggly creatures in it. They sure were ugly. Were those baby birds? She hoped she wasn't that ugly when she was a baby! They didn't have any feathers or anything! |
