Allen would give a small nod as Riv answered. The young man may not have been trained to answer in this manner, but his responses were truthful, sincere, and in all honesty exactly what Allen was looking for. His nephew was sure in his answers too, completely serious with no wavering emotion as he spoke them. The boy truly had the spirit of a Walker, of the very Walker he was named after. Allen would breathe out slowly, a smile forming on his face. “You speak the truth from your very heart Riv. That is something about you, and about my sister, that I had loved. I can feel her spirit within you... And it makes me smile.” Allen would dip his head towards the youth. “I believe that you’re going to make a fine alpha someday. I just hope that I can keep the pack floating until then.” The male would give a small smile. “You really make me miss her...” Allen would say softly. "Hear Me Talk," 'Read My Thoughts.' |
