Put Your Guard Up

Completely unaware that his sister was up to something, Rhyme trotted right up to Rhys. Good. Her "present" was quickly slipping away; she could feel it. If she'd had to chase after him it probably would have been too late.

Spinning around so that her butt was in her brother's face, Rhys snapped her tail to the side and then bore down so hard she thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head. A look of deep concentration crossed her face - enough time had passed that she really had to dig for it.

Peffffft.

The sound of the little toot was almost drown out by the peal of evil laughter that accompanied it. Fearing retaliation Rhys took off in a mad sprint away from Rhyme, leaving nothing but stink and maniacal laughter in her wake.
