Walk | Talk | Think Anais nuzzled, ears tucked and eyes closed, beneath his chin and against his neck. It felt so freeing to no longer worry about her season, to keep herself at a distance from him just because of the way his presence made her feel. It had been torture in a sense, to see him and want to be at his side, to nuzzle and kiss him as the need arose. But the closeness only awakened her senses more, made the closeness they shared feel inadequate. Was this how it was? Was this how it would be? Was anything ever going to be enough? Her patience was strained, though she could not get her mind clear enough to tell her what it was that she needed to do. Inexperience felt like an enemy she was tackling alone, preventing her from properly expressing what it was that she wanted. But as she melted into another one of Glacier's kisses, heard his softly whispered statement, the anxiousness fluttered away. This was it. They were going to take the next step, together. No more waiting. A shiver stole through her body after he spoke, unable to properly respond except to nod her head twice, and quickly. She watched him, timidly and silently, at first, but closed her eyes again as her cheeks were kissed. Her ears, despite being folded, picked up every whispered word that he made for her as he held her to him. And as he slowly, slowly, expressed his love for her in a physical form, a medium neither had experienced yet, Anais journeyed with him toward their next big adventure, letting herself be consumed by the moment and the feelings of excitement, safety, and love that only he could offer her. -Fade- |
