One leaf, two leaf, three leaf, four

Piper skidded to a halt when she saw that the wolf she was heading toward was actually sound asleep. An idea popped in her head and she grinned. She dropped down into a crouch and crept toward the other girl, skirting around the rock so that she was on the side where the girl's brown and white tail was trailing off of. Piper had to use all of her self control to keep herself from giggling at her own idea. She knew she might get in trouble later if the girl didn't think her prank was funny, but she was willing to take the risk! She knew her daddy would think it was funny anyway... at least she thought he would. She carefully inched up to the edge of the bolder, being eeeeeeextra quiet so she didn't wake up the girl that was snoring quietly. She peered up at the edge of the bolder that was a little bit above her head and she situated her haunches under her like a spring. Then she sprung up, pouncing the sleeping girl's tail with both forepaws and giving it a little tug before dropping back down and hiding up against the side of the boulder, hopefully before the girl could sit up to see what was going on. Piper grinned and wiggled excitedly and had to lightly bite her tongue to keep herself from giggling. |
