Cause all I need,

is the love you breathe,

put your lips on me and

I can live Underwater

The ivory dame's chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm. The trickling of the small waterfall easing her to sleep, her tail fluttered, coiling around empty air as she curled into herself, icy blue oculars sealing themselves from the rest of the world. Sunlight trickled in through the mouth of her den, making her silver coat glow in the soft light. She had accomplished her tasks for the day and after a thorough search of the Tortugan lands, she could not find her mate. It had disheartened, between his training and her duties, she rarely got to see him. She missed the little ball of spitfire she called her own. She had thought, perhaps, today would be theirs, but alas.

She had returned to their den alone... she had gotten used to the idea of calling it theirs. It smelled more like him than her anyway. He had grown large. Thick, heavy muscles from his days training, he outsized her and outweighed her, no longer could he curl within the warmth of her body, it was now he that curled around her, protected her and kept her safe. She missed the heat of his body against her back. She sighed softly and settled down for a nap. She was no longer border lining emaciation, without the poppy seeds to hold her back she had filled her curves nicely. She was still petite and a stunning, gorgeous specimen of a wolf, but she was no longer flesh and bone.

Suddenly Neo's scent hit her hard and relaxation left her posture. Her eyes snapped open, blue, the color of ice and languidly she stretched her body back up onto all four paws. It was coming at her far too fast... this piece of the mountain, it was there sanctuary, even when he was pushed to the point of collapse he never barreled back to her. He always took the time to enjoy the scenery, this area was littered with her scent and he had claimed once that it calmed him. What could have upset him so horribly?

Her eyes glistened with worry and now fully awake she glided to the front of their den, swerving around the water to peek out into the mountain. He was flying, currently just a dim dot in her vision but obviously flying with all the speed his musculature gave him. Worry replaced her afternoon relaxation and she took a few more tentative steps out. Her lips parted and her jaw unhinged. "Neo?" She called down to him and still he did not slow, at this rate he was going to barrel right into her, but at the moment she didn't really care. She wanted to know what was wrong.
