Baby steps

Athena blinked awake just as the sun was starting to filter through the den's entrance and she sleepily lifted her head to look at the two little girls sleeping between her and Amalia's sleeping form. She smiled as she looked at the two of them. It was amazing how much pups could grow in what felt like such a short amount of time. She almost didn't want to disturb them, but she had plans for today that required them to be awake. She leaned down and gently nuzzled Jayne and Diana's backs to slowly wake them both up. "Hey you two," she whispered, giving each of them a kiss on the top of their heads. "Rise and shine! Why don't you both wake up Momma Ama and we'll see about a surprise for the both of you, hm?" She chuckled softly and leaned back to watch the adorable chaos that was sure to ensue as she released two pups upon her sleeping wife. |
