"I did it." Valentine turned to grin over his shoulder at her. "Yes you did, sweetheart. You did very well. Now hang on." The brute got to his paws slowly. Once upright he paused to get a sense of the weight across his back and how it was going to affect him, and how the girl was doing. He then started off carefully; each step deliberate and slow as he tried not to jostle her too much. This was going to be a rather slow process, but he was sure they would make it before dark. She just had to hang on for a little while longer. -exit- |
